Without a doubt, one of my favorite places I’ve stayed in San Diego. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the Host and given some welcome goodies. The Host stocked the refrigerator with spring water and had fresh oranges to gift us from the tree in the yard! This was a first for me. We usually don’t get this kind of treatment upon arrival. Needless to say, I was impressed. Throughout our stay, the Host was quick to respond to our text messages. Weather was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL for December visit. The backyard was very zen and peaceful with the noises from the adjacent nature preserve and the sun setting. Have to admit we opted for DoorDash delivery quite frequently during our stay just so we could dine in the outdoor space; that’s how much we enjoyed it! We took advantage of the adjacent walking trails in the nature preserve almost daily during our stay. There are 4 different ones; 2 moderate and 2 steep. We opted for the moderate and really enjoyed just the beauty of it. It’s literally right outside the backyard, so it was pretty cool. If you take it around the bend, there’s a lake too! I’m sure you can tell we’re outdoor enthusiasts. So I’m going to jump to actual inside now. Great space. Very comfortable. Our Master had an en-suite spa bathroom. I was able to link my music to their bathroom music system and spent a good hour in the jacuzzi tub more than once! It did wonders. Kitchen very well stocked. FREE wifi and lots of tv channels to choose from. They also had movies we could watch available. This place is a gated community so we didn’t worry about anyone breaking into our rental car and felt very safe there. We hit the beaches a couple of days and it was about 15 minutes drive time. Definitely coming back to this one.

We had great hospitality shown to us while we visited San Diego. This home was very relaxing and clean. Being a cook, the kitchen was equipped with upgraded stainless steel appliances and the house has very nice but comfy furniture. The sheets and linens were fresh and high thread count. And the pillows were like the ones I have at home! My husband and I liked that the owners thought of little details like bath robes and slippers. The complimentary coffee and ALL the spices for cooking were also a big help! We didn't have to rush to the grocery store upon arrival. The kitchen is very well equipped with assorted cooking utensils. There was also a full on outdoor kitchen with a large grill which we took full advantage of also. I like to use fresh herbs in my meal prep and was pleased to find Mint, basil and rosemary all growing in the yard. The owner encouraged us to cut and use what we needed. We literally sat out in the patio EVERY night with our comfys on and just listened to the sounds from the nature preserve. The spectacular sunsets from the west were really the highlight of each day we spent there. We could see the water from where we sat. Just to let anyone reading this know, this house sits adjacent to a nature preserve and it was very peaceful and zen like. There was a walking trail leading into the canyon and around that was moderate in effort. Although we had the option of climbing the north side which seemed more of a challenge. We spotted some awesome wildlife just in our 30 minutes. From the airport to the property took our Uber driver 30 minutes. It's a gated community with 24 hr security so we felt very safe and we saw lots of residents walking around the community even later in the evening hours. We were able to get to the beach in 10 minutes. There are some very good restaurants 5 minutes from the community. We found a place called Fish District and and I" Love Pho" excellent in quality and pricing was very affordable. When we had questions, the owners were quick to respond and brought us over a couple of discount tickets for some local events which saved us some money. All in all it was a great experience and can't wait to return.
