Love! Love! Love! The carefully thought out landscaping design truly gives this sweet desert retreat a secluded setting. Step outside the kitchen in your PJs first thing for coffee or tea and your morning will be serenaded by soft cooing doves. Lounge or practice your guitar in this inspiring Shangri-la. If you need a get away fix we highly recommend Joshua Tree Desert Oasis.

This place is the perfect balance of location and seclusion. It is only a few miles from the park entrance, but feels like it is in the middle of nowhere. A great way to experience the desert. The second bedroom is great for those with kids or a couple with a child. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals, too, which was a nice plus. Although I would not expect anything to happen, a highly attentive owner would address any concerns or issues. Highly recommended.

The Joshua Tree Oasis is truly a gem, I haven't seen another vacation rental in the desert quite like this one. As you arrive you will notice the beautiful garden and can smell the rosemary. You will also notice the property enclosed/ gated for some privacy and added safety. As you enter the property you can't help yourself, you'll want to explore the beautiful garden filled with: native plants, trees, koi filled canoe, a few lizards, a native iguana (my son named iggy), birds, beetles, butterflies, a BBQ area, three sitting areas and so much more. My children had the best time exploring the grounds. We all enjoyed checking out the garden, bugs, beautiful sunsets and the stars at night! The inside of the home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rental has a good size kitchen with stove, fridge, small dishwasher and great center island, which we used on a daily basis. The kitchen is supplied with pots, dishes, utensils and much more. The rest of the house is cozy, inviting and very relaxing. There is a king size bed in the bedroom and there is plenty of bedding, towels and a few throws on the couches. I enjoyed the Books and magazines, the husband the CD player and children cartoons on Netflix! There is a "cottage" out back with more sleeping accommodations: a full sized bed and futon. Very relaxing. Of course, the kids thought it was their private home. The home is 10 minutes from the National Park entrance, close to grocery stores, restaurants and cute eclectic shops. If I may, my only suggestion might be a small clock radio for the cottage (to tell time and hear a little music) and possibly a microwave for the home itself. By all means these suggestions do not take away from the wonderful home; they would only add a little more. We had a wonderful stay and Christian was delightful and responsive in all communications. We hope to return one day!

Gina and Christian's oasis in Joshua Tree really is an oasis. The grounds are so well maintained and waking up to the birds every morning was such a treat. We even saw a couple bunnies bouncing around. Our freinds daughter couldn't get enough of watching the fish swim around the canoe. The interior is warm and inviting and had all the right amenities. For 2 couple and a toddler we had plenty of space and having the separation of the guest cottage came in very handy for when the kid-less couple wanted to sleep in :). 10 mins from an entrance to Joshua tree national park we could have asked for a better location. It's also very close to grocery stores, local restaurants and pioneertown. Gina and Christian were very attentive to any questions we had before and during the stay. We will definitely be booking this house again for our next joshua Tree adventure!
