This 3 bedroom (1 double, 1 twin and 1 with bunk beds) double glazed, semi-bungalow has a large lounge, a good sized kitchen with dining area, a bathroom and an en-suite shower room. The rear garden of the house has a spectacular 180 degree view of the Sound of Mull and of the island of Mull.

The house is well appointed with a 'green' air source heat pump central heating system plus some additional electric radiators and a log fire in the lounge. The modern kitchen has a ceramic hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher. There is also a washing machine. There is a very efficient tumble dryer at the laundry next to the shop.

I stayed with my kids for 4 nights at the property and was extremely impressed. The kitchen was well stocked with all the crockery, utensils etc you need for a self catering holiday. The wood burning stove provided a lovely additional to the cosy living...More

Lochaline is a small Highland village with surprisingly good amenities and is the main settlement in the Morvern peninsula, which lies just beneath Ardnamurchan and across the sound of Mull from the Isle of Mull. It is about an hour by car from the main town of Fort William.

Railway: Fort William: 40.4 mi
By road from Glasow or it's airport, head on the A82 to Fort William. About 10 miles (16KM) before Fort William take the Corran Ferry over to Ardgour and from there it is just over 30 miles (50Km) to Lochaline. The journey from Glasgow takes you through some of the most iconic scenery in the whole of Scotland - Erskine Bridge, Loch Lomond, Tyndrum (here there are plenty of cafes/bars where you can break the journey), Bridge of Orchy, Loch Tulla, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Ballachulish Bridge, Loch Linnhe, Loch Sunart and then the Morvern peninsula itself.
