The vacation home is located in a very small private residential area of only a dozen or so villas all very up-scale. It is a quiet, safe and peaceful gated community, with guardhouse and security 24/7.

We have been renting our villas since 1997, we have everything you need from an on-site property manager, to extras like Central A/C, Wifi, Free Phone Calls anywhere, USA satellite TV (80+ channels) just like back home in English, so you won't miss the next Survivor or CSI episodes. You would be hard pressed to think of amenities that we don’t have in the villas. We have extensive list of excursions to offer you as well as maps to local shopping and restaurant suggestions.
Unlike many villas in the area we are ONSITE OWNERS who manage their own vacation home, we are only 300 feet away if you need us.

We make your Vacation Hassle Free: The 1st thing every guest says when they arrive, is the Villa & Ocean are more beautiful than even the pictures show, with the ocean's edge 30 feet from the back door, you always have a great view of the turquoise water of the Caribbean. We furnished our villas with real living room furniture all imported from Pottery Barn or Macys. In our villas we want you to feel like your home.
We have all the information and assistance to help make planning your vacation hassle free. We have downloadable maps to Costco, Wal-Mart in Playa del Carmen & Cancun and Hospitals. You can go online thru our site and view videos of activities and reserve online, including Golf Tee Times or a Catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres, and Fishing and Snorkeling in Puerto Morelos. Our FAQ have every question you could think of including a Mayan Riviera Swine flu update. We offer a grocery shopping service that will buy all your grocery’s and have them waiting in the villa for you.
Chef Miguel & Welcome Dinner Menu: The villa owner is a professional chef and will cook your food with the 'Sazon y Sentimiento' (Taste and Feeling) of Mexico, for the 'foodies on vacation' you can schedule an afternoon private cooking class with Chef Miguel.
Here is our Welcome dinner we offer arrival night so guest can relax and get their bearings without having to go out to a restaurant to eat. One of the many dinners on our villas food service menu.

Chef Miguel and Private Cooking Class: Chef will come to your vacation villa and teach you the in and outs of some of the popular Mayan Dishes along with hands on training... be prepared to be involved with the food preparation as Miguel’s Suez Chefs or grab a stool with a margarita or a cerveza and just watch. It’s a fun and festive afternoon preparing a Mayan dinner along with insights to both Mexican/Mayan Ingredients as well as Cultural viewpoints… afternoon of pure Foodie heaven! You don’t have to be a seasoned Chef…or you could be… but either way you learn recipes that you can easy make back at home. After the cooking is done sit down to a memorable Mayan dinner you have just prepared.

Interaction with guests: Unlike many villas in the region, we are on site owner/managers and my Husband is also the Chef, this is not a vacation home we see once in a while - we live here in a small building separate from the villa (at the entrance of the driveway 300 feet from the beach.) Since we live here full time we see our staff daily and try our best to make sure any maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner. Our Philosophy is that the villa is your home while you are here. Keeping that in mind, we respect your privacy above all. However, if you need us we are only steps away. Each Villa has a Hotel style phone all in English with an extension to call us directly.
Starting with the level of communication, Liza responded to every email and Miguel answered every phone call. The cleaning staff were perfect, polite and non-intrusive. The pool, patio and beach caretakers were there early in the morning and made sure all areas were clean and functional. Miguel's welcome tacos are truly a must (great guacamole). House is big and functional, pictures in website are spot on. Beach sand is perfect. Playa Del Carmen is 35 minute drive. Puerto Morales is 10 minute ride (nice little beach town with snorkeling and fishing charters) has a nice new grocery store in the center of town. The villas are twice gated, one at the main road and one at the driveway, we felt totally safe the entire time...no issues at all. All in all a great place to stay for true R and R. We had a special event while we were there and Miguel even arranged a Mariachi Band to play pool side (5 piece band). If you have them come, think about songs in Spanish before they arrive because they do take requests.

The absolute best place to stay for any type of group!
Here's the quick summary: Whether you are traveling with babies, older kids, or all adults you will not find a better place. This is not just a great house with a sweet pool next to an amazing beach. It is a full service, private, relaxing dream for even those who are accustomed to 5 star resorts. You can groceries delievered each morning, and amazing food prepared for you each day. A friendly, wonderful staff maintains the property and cleans the houses, pool, and beach each day.
If you want more details: Just as a reference, my husband and I have traveled all over the world, and stayed in everything from cheap hostels to 5 star resorts. We expected to continue traveling after having twins, but quickly realized this was not easy. The Secret Beach Villas with Liza and Miguel changed that. We recently stayed in one of their villas for a whole month. During that time we had various extended family join us. They provided pack n plays for the kids, and had tons of pool and beach toys. Even the adults were using the boogey boards. They kept us stocked with food, booze, and amazing dinners every night. You don't even need to plan ahead, as you order groceries and dinner the night before. I haven't even mentioned the amazing beach. You won't get a better beach location that Playa Secreto.
I usually like to research and book my own excursions, but Liza had the best advice and hook-ups for airport and excursion transport, car rental, yacht party snorkeling trips, and probably everything you could think of. I very soon realized that not only does she know EVERYTHING about local activites, but also gets you the best price.
They are so accomodating and flexible that you feel like you are at your own beach home. We left after a month-long stay and missed the place so much that we returned a month an a half later. Unfortuneately, they are so popular that they weren't available the whole month again. While I'm sure the other houses will be nice, already they are not as easy and helpful with plans. This kind of service just doesn't exitst anywhere else!

Perfect “Social Distance” Retreat
This was the perfect spot for a socially distanced retreat— we each had our own bedroom and bathroom and there is ample living space to maintain 6’ distancing. The service was impeccable, the beach is outstanding and Chef Miguel is phenomenal.
I loved the decor— each bedroom is tastefully decorated with its own theme and they use high quality linens. They have wood sculptures and ocean-themed art work throughout. The personal touches of embroidered pillows make you feel at home.
The water is very hot with good pressure.
They provide everything you need in the kitchen and bar if you want to cook for yourself, but I highly recommend Chef Miguel for at least a few meals— he catered breakfasts and dinners for a week to three different diet restrictions for our group of four, including gluten free and vegetarian and we loved all of our meals.
They provide housekeeping Monday- Saturday and every morning right after sunrise they clean the seaweed and pool area so everything was kept in perfect condition.
Liza and Miguel arranged everything for us to make our trip seamless, safe and easy. They arranged airport transfers, car rentals, concierge COVID testing for entry back to the US and they gave us the recommendation for the best snorkeling guide I have ever had (see review for Atma-Ha Tours.)
Liza even has a homemade dog bakery so you can bring a gift home to the “fur kids”! (Luna’s treats, named for their very sweet Staffordshire Terrier.)
Bonus tip: we saved about $500 by booking on Trip Advisor instead of VRBO!

Perfect, private, family getaway!
If you don't want to share the beach with other tourists, this is the perfect location. No need to dress to impress while on vacation for a walk on the beach. Can cook your own meals, or even better have the chef deliver meals to your kitchen.
Owners and staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Only wish we would have extended our trip even longer than we did.

So So Amazing!
Wow where do I begin? Could it be the view? Could it be the accommodations? Could it be the Food? All these things could not take place without an amazing staff! Miguel your heart to make our family feel like part of your family does not go unnoticed. Beto your food, infectious smile and laughter excelente! Liza making sure everything was in order to make our trip the most memorable and easy trips in a long time. You all made us want to stay right where we were at. This is now our home away from home and we will be back. Well done!

Beautiful place, wonderful time
This is a fantastic villa on a quiet beach with wonderful staff, who keep it spotless and attend to every need. The owners respond quickly and the food is amazing! A perfect place for our two families and a short drive from Puerto Morelos, a really nice town with great restaurant selections. Highly recommended!

Awesome villa!
Booked the Fish Villa for an adult family of 7. We would all highly recommend this
rental. Beach was beautiful, white soft sand, warm blue-green water with very few people on it! Pool, villa and grounds were well kept, as well as the villa. Definitely take advantage of having Miguel/Beto cook meals .. food was brought over piping hot and delicious with plenty of leftovers for lunches. Liza was easy to work with and everything we book thru her was done seamlessly. Don't be afraid to rent a car and go into Puerto Morelos or Playa del Carmen both very easy to get to. Los Colibries Jungle Spa was a morning well spent and swimming in the nearby cenotes was also a great adventure. Security at the villa was also top notch and we never felt at risk - we all loved Sophia (the security guards dog). Highly recommend and would definitely rent again!

Great Villa Close to all attractions
We stayed at the Shell Villa and had an amazing time. Beto is the cook/bartender and really did a great job. We ordered the welcome dinner and it was amazing. This property is so much better than a Hotel. We used the private transportation service and were more than satisfied with the car, driver, and wait time. We’ve been to Mexico many times and love Playa because of the wide variety of things to do. We used ‘Playa Private Tours’ and the owner Giles was our driver for an amazing day at Chichen Itza. It was well worth the expense. The Villa did a great job accommodating our needs. Miguel helped us get passes to Xel-Ha and offered excellent advice. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the pool and beach area. If you’re looking for a Villa then this property is in a great location for the price.

Outstanding!
We visited with family and children in June and had an absolutely amazing time. The owner is exceptional, the villa/beach are gorgeous and the food prepared by their chef - just fantastic! It couldn't be more beautiful! Coming back for sure!

Over the top!
The villas are beautiful, the beach is white soft sand and is right in front of you in full view. The food is incredible, the chef is amazing, accomodating to your every whim! Liza and Miguel were wonderful, catering to our every call, from booking yoga on the beach to snorkel expeditions. The airport transfers are very easy to book through Liza's website as well as renting a vehicle. Everything ran so smoothly, our group are usual all-inclusive people and now just want to come back to these villas. You will be very well taken care of at these villas!! Thank you again Liza and Miguel!

We can RESERVE R/T AIRPORT TRANSFER (private van) to bring you to the villa.
ORDER THE WELCOME DINNER from our Chef for the 1st night (or any dinner if arriving other than a Sat.)
HAVE US STOCK THE VILLA WITH SOME FOOD at least for the next day’s breakfast plus some snacks and soda, beer, etc.; (or we can do a whole list – as much or as little as you need.) The local workers get paid on Saturday, and the stores are swamped Saturday afternoon till Sunday afternoon, so in our experience, it, doesn’t work out to try and arrive and shop same day unless you have an early morning flight.
ORDER A VEHICLE TO BE DROPPED OFF AT THE VILLA the morning after you arrive and picked up late afternoon the day before departure (or when you prefer for as many days as you like.) No need to go to the car rental office. Having the rental car dropped off at the villa allows you to get something smaller (since you won’t have to carry luggage) also getting next day and picked up the day before you depart can save you enough to cover transfer cost. We will be happy to get you a quote.
