About the Area Located in the beautiful Vall den Marc in the heart of the Pollenca countryside, this rural area offers its visitors peace, tranquillity and dramatic scenery with plenty of opportunities for walking, hiking, cycling and outdoor living. The nearest town is Pollenca, a place abundant with art galleries, first-class restaurants, tapas bars and cafes whilst the beautiful sandy beaches of the east coast can be reached in 20/30 minutes. Port de Pollenca was once a simple fishing port, now it remains very attractive and one of the most popular resorts on the island. The picturesque town is full of Mallorcan charm and is home to long stretches of golden sand, a delightful promenade lined by pine and palm trees with a splendid array of cafes and restaurants and a chic marina. Cala San Vicente is a beautiful secluded resort village with a splendid beach and three small hidden bays enclosed by the imposing backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains. These three bays provide fine sand and pebble beaches with crystal clear waters. Sports & Activities Pollenca - There are several places of historical interest including "The Roman Bridge", signposted ‘Pont Roma’, and "Puig de Maria", a small mountain topped by a monastery. Port de Pollenca/Platja d'Alcudia/Platja de Muro - A range of water sports including; pedalos, kayaking, banana boats, parasailing and scuba diving. Boat trips are available sailing around the pretty bay or visiting the beautiful beach at Formentor. Cala San Vicente - A great place for snorkelling and canoeing. Pollenca Golf Course - An attractive 9-hole course with spectacular views. Lluc Monastery and Museum - One of the Island's key sights, an important pilgrim site for over 800 years in a beautiful location in the mountains.
