Clearsprings Cottage is located on a year round spring-fed creek featuring white water, water falls and a spring pool. Fishing Central- Adjacent to Clear Creek wade and float fishing, 5 minutes from Crooked Creek (considered the best small mouth bass fishing stream in America), 20 minutes from famous White River trout fishing, 30 minutes from Bull Shoals lake and 30 minutes from the Buffalo National River. *WARNING!! This cozy cottage with manicured hiking trails, relaxing waterfalls and the quintessential babbling brook, may prevent you from completing your other vacation plans!!

I had a group going down there to float. He waited for the week before to say he didn't want anyone in the house. So we couldn't even do it trip because everyone else was booked up and our 4 times the price.

Great place for families to get away
This spot provided exactly what we, a family of 4, were looking for to escape reality. The house is very remote in a location where we never saw another person. Due to rains, the creek was up so we were able to play in the "rapids" despite the cold. The house is very much a basic camp - nothing fancy but interesting (would love to know the backstory). Beds were comfortable, sitting area so-so - there is a futon for extra sleeping but not really comfortable as a couch. A few things to note - you need to bring your own towels for outdoor use, there was not any toiletries provided so you need to bring shampoo, bath soap, etc. There is not local tv but three smart tvs that are wifi enabled - you will need your own accounts to watch though. Also, there is not a home phone so, when we lost power, we did not have ability to call for information (a tornado knocked out the power). Likely not a big issue 99% of the time but we didn't have cell service either so was a slight issue due to the emergency situation. Also, somewhere nearby is a house because we were visited daily by two precious LARGE dogs. They made our day but, if you are scared of dogs, watch for them. They love people.
Overall, would recommend this location.

Excellent Solitude and Star Gazing!
The location is private and beautiful with the brook just outside the Cottage. The screened in porch was great, as was the back patio with an intimate campfire pit. Loved the open skies for star gazing, amazing view. Just what we wanted. Will be back another season.

Peace and Serenity!!
Clear Springs Cottage was everything we dreamed of. The creek and waterfalls are literally right outside the front door. We fished clear creek and crooked creek which are both very close to the cottage and caught lots of smallmouth bass and perch. If your looking for seclusion and the beauties that nature has to offer as well as great fishing in a peaceful setting then Clear Springs Cottage is an excellent choice.

Fantastic experience
The cabin was clean and comfortable, the host was very accommodating and the surroundings were perfect. Enjoying a family BBQ, relaxing in the screen room or by the creek and exploring the area were just a few things we enjoyed. The local wild life took some getting used to for us, but we are city people from California, so...
