About the neighborhood
Omogolo’s land is characterized by pristine bush, with many acacia and leadwood trees and open to grassland that is untouched by agriculture and fences. As a result, many animals enter from the Delta. Omogolo is home to many mammal species, including elephant, lion, hyena, leopard, wild dog, zebra, kudu, steenbok and impala. There is excellent birding, especially around the water holes.
Getting around
Omogolo is accessible by 4WD only. Transfers either from the main road, from Tsau airstrip or from Maun can be booked, as well as transfer by helicopter. Activities further afield such as Drotsky's caves, Tsodilo hills, fishing, boating and mokoro excursions can be organized on request.
