Reviewed December 31, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

We arrived here on Christmas Eve afternoon and were greeted by a lit log burner, decorated christmas tree and mince pies which really made us feel at home. The lane to the cottage is long and windy (about 4 and a half miles from the main road) and the farm is the last one on the lane. It was well equipped, clean and extremely peaceful. Beautiful views all around and plenty of walking opportunities if you want to. The family were friendly and helpful but not intrusive by any means. No mobile signal or internet connection was a bonus for us. Reading the visitors books which go back about 8 years, we are very surprised that there are no previous reviews.
If you want a peaceful place to stay and enjoy the countryside this is an ideal cottage to stay in.
