Ideal as a romantic get away from it all for couples; or for two couples wanting a warm retreat; the cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms. The main bedroom is stylishly appointed with a king size double, and large picture windows overlooking the sea. Have breakfast in bed looking at the amazing view! The second bedroom is a light and bright double aspect twin room. There is a large lounge also overlooking the sea, with wood burning stove and comfy sofas and armchairs for relaxing. The brand new fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and underfloor heating has all modern conveniences and appliances to make your stay chore-free, whilst a newly fitted bathroom with large rainshower over the bath also has underfloor heating. The cottage also has a rear hall/ boot room/utility room, and a spacious entrance hall. As well as the wood burning stove, the cottage is warmed by oil fired central heating throughout plus the under floor heating in the kitchen and bathroom, so is suitable for all year round stays and cozy winter nights.  In the lounge you will find a satellite TV and DVD player, lots of books, games, and DVDs to keep you occupied. The cottage has free broadband internet so you can always stay connected! You will find suggestions for walks and things to do in the cottage, as well as ideas for where to eat if you don't feel like cooking. There is a garden to the front and side of the house and beyond at both front and rear of the cottage there are 6 acres of croft land to run about in! More

Fantastic cottage, perfect for getting away from it all. Cosy but luxurious cottage. Amazing views, especially the snow on the far mountains. Really helpful owners who managed any issues with genuine concern and promptly. Would defiantly go back here again.

Additional amenities & feature info
Built at the turn of the century as a croft cottage, Green Pastures has been stylishly refurbished to ensure maximum comfort, enjoyment and convenience for our guests. The cottage is fully double glazed and has oil fired central heating throughout. The lounge is a large room with a huge tilt 'n turn double glazed picture window overlooking the sea. Settle down here in front of the log burning stove to enjoy the views, watch the satellite TV, read a book, or plan your next walk on Skye. In the newly installed fully equipped kitchen you will find everything you need, from dishwasher, washer dryer, electric oven, hob and contemporary extractor, fridge and freezer, and microwave to coffee maker. There is also a breakfast bar seating 4, so you can eat here too. The kitchen has zoned lighting so that you can set your mood. The room is light and warm, with picture windows, underfloor heating, and a radiator. The main bedroom has a king size bed and again has large picture windows overlooking the sea - imagine waking up and sitting in bed relaxing with a cup of tea, looking at the sea and the hills - wonderful. The second bedroom is also lovely and light, with two windows to the rear and side, and twin beds. The bathroom has been refitted in a contemporary style, and has a shower bath with large rain-shower over, underfloor heating and a radiator, so is lovely and cosy for a relaxing soak. The cottage has a large hall, and a boot room/utility entrance at the rear where you can store your muddy boots and outdoor clothes.

About the neighborhood
There are several great restaurants nearby, including a Michelin Star restaurant at Lochbay. You can enjoy an amazing walk on the cliffs from the cottage where you can see Golden Eagles and White Tailed Sea Eagles. You can walk down to the beach or there are great white sand beaches within a 20 minute drive. There is a historic church at Trumpan on Waternish and the cottage is not far from the world reknowned Dunvegan Castle.
Getting around
You definitely need a car, there are very few bus routes on Skye and no trains.
