St Pancras is the lovingly restored old church situated on the beautiful Rousdon Country Estate, near Lyme Regis set amidst 350 acres of parkland. A Grade ll listed building formally the church for the estate. <BR><BR>There are lovely amenity walks for the residents, including access to private beach.<BR><BR>The Church has been restored by the new owners to an exceptionally high standard and is situated in its own grounds overlooking the lake and parkland with glimpses of the sea beyond. St Pancras is a delight. This cleverly and sympathetically repurposed old church is ideal for an atmospheric family break, or as in our case, an 'old friends' long weekend away. Stayed there for 4 nights, walking locally in the mornings and mooching about in gardens and villages in the afternoons. St Pancras is a beautiful transformation of an ancient church into a comfortable, well furnished and well kitted out 'cottage'. A real find in a lovely area.

Wow again. What a totally stunning place. St Pancras was our dream holiday 'cottage'. 3 generations of my family gathered at St Pancras for a week's get together and we were all blown away by the fabulous amenities in this stunning church. The property consists of a traditional entrance porch leading into the large open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen. <BR><BR>The sitting area has a comfortable sofa (not shown), chairs and a log burner (logs supplied). Originally this would have been the knave and altar area.<BR><BR>There are two staircases, one leading to the mezzanine, a double bedroom that has a spectacular reinforced glass balcony overlooking the ground floor.<BR><BR>The Kitchen has fully fitted oak units and is fully equipped with full-size fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc and the old “emu house”, (yes it did hold emus!) houses the washing machine, and is a useful “boot room” for muddy boots, coats etc after long walks in the grounds or fossil hunting on the be... more
