We arrived on a Saturday evening to find the property so damp a dehumidfier was running in one of two bedrooms. There was extensive black mould on window frames and the shower. The shower was also rotting along the base unit. The vacum cleaner and presumably the cleaner's jumper where both left in the middle of the sitting room. CH were closed until Monday and we were only able to contact them the next day when the caretaker provided us with an email address. We moved out of the property urgently due to health concerns and later received a full refund. Our family holiday however was cut short. No assistance was offered by CH other than advising us of the property owners phone number and to say it was for us to negotate a resolution with the owner. It then took 10 days to receive the refund and only after advising we would want to recover our losses incured in moving to first a hotel for the night and then to more expensive accomodation which was all that was available at very short notice. Not a company we will use again.
