We stayed at Richmond cottage for a long weekend, its a lovely cosy cottage, nicely decorated and has a small enclosed garden which was great for our dog. The owners made it very welcoming for us by leaving heating on and fairy lights etc. The cottage is situated on the edge of a housing estate which is not evident from the information at booking, andt it is within walking distance to the town through a pleasant park. The only negatives were there was no lounge seating for 6 people, two had to sit on the wooden kitchen chairs and there is a fairly large grassy area to walk over to get to the cottage and this could be quite messy. The other thing that made us feel quite uncomfortable was we were meant to vacate at 11 but the owners arrived unannounced at 10.40 and started changing light bulbs putting bins out etc., they were very pleasant and said for us not to hurry but it did not feel right. A lovely wee cottage but probably just for four people.
