Blakeney is a picturesque village on the northern coast of Norfolk and offers a wonderful choice of places to eat and drink. The village is known for its 8th century windmill,a historic quay,a 13th century church and a variety of independent shops and art galleries. Blakeney National Nature Reserve features a variety of seabirds and wildlife,and you can take a boat trip from Blakeney Point out to see a colony of grey seals. A couple of miles away is the pretty village of Cley next the Sea,which is the home of the Cley Marshes Nature Reserve. Also nearby are the coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea (9 miles) and the popular seaside resort of Cromer (14 miles). On entering this beautifully restored Grade II listed cottage which retains some original features including exposed beams,you will find yourself in the light and comfortable lounge. An ideal space to relax in,the pretty and restful lounge features comfortable seating,TV with access to Netfilx and CD. The traditional kitchen/diner has a delightful dining area and is fully equipped with everything you may need including an oven,fridge/freezer,washing machine,dishwasher and microwave. There is also a ground-floor shower room with WC. Steep cottage style, curved stairs leads to the first floor where you will find two cosy bedrooms: a double room with TV/DVD and en-suite bathroom complete with WC,and a single bedroom. Stepping outside,you can relax at the end of a wonderful day in the sunny south-facing courtyard garden. Unallocated parking is available nearby.   More
