Winter break in the sun
Stayed here 2 weeks. Contact with owner was ok, no problems meeting her and picking key up. Having been Nerja before we knew our way around so no real need to contact the owner further. Location is good being near walking distance of 2 supermarkets and the buses, also the weekly market. Morasol building is well kept seems neat and tidy in the block hardly saw the janitor but seems he does a good job. Streets around about are quite clean no litter, no eyesores. Locals all very respectful. There are 2 lifts which both worked well, flat is on 5th floor, main plus is the south facing balcony which at the time had direct sun from 10 to 6pm. Flat in need of maintenance or attention, there are loose tiles on the floor which we tripped on a couple of times. Kitchen is galley style, good fridge freezer, microwave. No oven, which we knew, hob appears to be bottled calor gas. We didn't use it, ate out in town mainly. Pollo Asados was only open Friday to Sunday until 3pm. That's the shop with green shutter you can see from balcony. Shower in bathroom very good, plenty of hot water, although enclosure is dated. Double bed mattress is comfortable although badly fitting plasticated mattress protector kept slipping and made you uncomfortable.
Currently there are road works from 8am to 6pm either side of the building so lots of noise and dust which spoilt our time on the balcony. Think this is all down to the replacement sewer pipes and the building of a new waste plant between Burriana and Maro. There are huge excavations in places all over town. We asked owner if she was aware of these planned works and she didn't respond.
We really enjoy overwintering in Nerja, but with all these works going on think we will leave it next winter.

Lovely Apartment
What a lovely apartment with sea view. Apartment was spotless, bed very comfortable. Owners very helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend. We will be back again.

Well positioned for exploring Nerja
Beautiful views across lower Nerja on to sea sort 10 to 15 minutes walk down to beaches and balcony of Europe, bars and restaurants walkable in evening ,apartment lovely and clean with basic needs Cecilia was very helpful although after initial contact we didn't need to pester her again ,enjoyed last minute break

Just Right
Morasol apartments are within 10 minutes walk to the beautiful town of Nerja and local beaches. Nearby there is a Supermarket and the best rotisserie chickens ever just over the road. The apartment was equip with all we needed with the exception of an oven,(the toaster is hilarious). It does need some TLC but is clean and homely. It has a south facing balcony with stunning views and south facing so sunny all day long; great for g&t's at sundown!
We took a a fire stick for the TV and it worked great with a good WiFi connection.
All in all we had a great month there and we will miss our paella at lunchtime on Burriana Beach. We wish Celia and her family all the very best.

comfy, clean and convenient
A well designed, comfy, clean, light apartment. I appreciated the fact that everything worked well, that crockery matched and that I could get Spanish tv. The balcony is a real sun trap and a lovely place for an early evening drink before heading into town. Everything is very close and convenient. Would definitely come back again.

Perfect but at a stroll
Comfortable apartment with beautiful balcony. 5 mins walk from supermarket, 12 min walk from beach, 15-20 min walk to the main area. Apartment more suited to two people or a couple and one person. Celia and Santiago are lovely extremely helpful but non intrusive people. Apartment is all you need and perfect if you don't mind a walk.

Lovely apartment
Was a lovely clean apartment. Great views. Everything you need from WiFi to a washing machine. Perhaps could do with one more fan for the other bedroom but in all, very nice place. Thank you!

Desatendido por completo y sucio ademas otros detalles.
La presentación del bloque deplorable, y la del piso [--] todavÃa peor la puerta de entrada llena de yesos asà como el pasillo hasta el piso,
¿Como se va uno a vestir sin llenarse las suelas de los zapatos de yesos he irnos a una fiesta?
El interior con muebles de bajo coste y cada uno de diferente color, las sillas de comedor rotas, las persianas sin poderse bajar y mal arregladas, sobre todo las del dormitorio, la cama volcada hacia un lado, sin sabanas solo la funda de un edredón nosotros tuvimos que comprar las sabanas, El baño con un espejito tipo mueble incomodo sin secadores que apenas se puede uno arreglar, el baño con viejas cortinas de plástico y un olor desagradable y las tuberÃas bajando por las paredes colgadas en malas condiciones.
La cocina peor, los utensilios de leche y tostadoras sucios los enchufes rotos y nada en buen estado, a pesar de que se alquila como un piso en magnificas condiciones.
Nosotros jamás volveremos y nuestros amigos y conocidos menos, esperamos que esto les sirva a las demás personas para pensar en donde se meten, además lejos de las playas y no a 0 Km como ellos dicen en su página.
