We were given instructions on how to get to the apartment and when the taxi driver dropped us off he pointed us in the totally wrong direction! The instructions were not clear either and 1 hour later, carrying heavy luggage, and in 34 degree heat, we found the apartment! The steps and layout of Capistrano Playa were horrendous and you couldn't even use the lift to take the luggage part way down as the key for lift was in the apartment! The walk into Nerja town was a good half hour, down 170 steps and then further along the road you had to go up a steep hill into the start of the town! The apartment itself needed a bit of updating and the drains were very smelly but don't know if this was to do with the ornamental lake Capistrano Playa is built on. The advertisement also said there was a lovely shaded terrace at the side of the property which was a horrible, like a prison cell with 3 walls! All in all, would not return.
