Nerja is a coastal town at the foot of the Almijara mountains with a long tradition of fishing and agriculture. The fishermen still pull their nets ashore on Burriana beach and fresh produce can still be bought from the doorways of local people´s houses. The weekly market (Tuesdays) attracts many traders and shoppers from all over the region and the town centre has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere with many lovely shops, tapas bars & restaurants.

Villa was dated and did not reflect picture on your site.There were no parasols ad shown on the picture. Broken tiles on side of property. Could not see how to use oven as worn off. No instruction booklets to VC work bc appliances. Small broken kettle and cheap 2 slice toaster not big enough for all the people in the villa. Could have done with information binder on taxi service , places to eat and instructions where villa was. Safe did not work so no one could use it. Some of the air con remotes did not work. May have been short of batteries. Property looks like it had not been maintained fully and appliances needed updating.

Amazing villa and amazing support from Ian
We booked this villa in february thru to march , we have stayed in Nerja before a few times in Hotels, but decided to try a Villa , what can i say this villa is amazing we didnt want to come home , Located down a quiet cul de sac about 2 mins work from local Mercadona supermarket, and about 8 mins from Burriana Beach , town is about 15 mins walk away but there are also buses at on the main road , where you can go to Nerja and Malaga.
The villa is very spacious 5 bedrooms in total . very clean villa , swimming pool was amazing .
Ian gillespie is only at the other end of the phone to help if needed, as we travelled by train he even organized taxis to pick us up and drop us back at Maria Zambrano Station.
I would not hesistate to recommend C and G Nerja Rentals . keep up the good work Ian

Great Villa in a great location
We are a party of 9 adults and have just returned from 2 weeks in Casa Wahl. We were delighted with the villa - very spacious and walking distance to beach and Nerja town. The villa is located on the top of a steep hill but this wasn’t an issue for us and it was good exercise. Some of us joined the yoga session on the beach which was lovely and we jogged along the beachfront which is beautiful early morning.
The villa provided everything we needed - very well equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 2 spacious lounges with lots of seating - downstairs lounge is great for watching movies. The pool and surrounding area is lovely and there are 2 big sun parasols for those wanting to relax in the shade.
Some lovely restaurants near Burriana Beach - would recommend Yuu Taley - lovely Thai restaurant albeit a bit more expensive than others but worth it.
We did the Nerja river (Chillar) walk which was fantastic but do wear appropriate footwear as it’s quite tricky walking on the stones. Would also recommend Nerja caves - quite spectacular. There’s a lovely Italian restaurant down the hill from the caves that do great pizzas 😁
Nerja town is just lovely - so many winding streets and lovely shops and restaurants and of course, the Balcon de Europa - amazing views over the Mediterranean Sea - not to be missed.
Overall a great villa in a perfect location. The only reason we have given it a 4 rating is due to some electrical issues we had - having said that Ian was very quick to respond to our mails - I would also mention that the chest of drawers in a couple of the bedrooms were rather tired let’s say and could do with being replaced. Would we return to Casa Wahl and recommend it to others - ABSOLUTELY

Lovely villa for family holiday
Great villa for our party of 6 adults. Plenty of room, lovely and clean, comfortable beds, good amount of coat hangers, lots of crockery and glasses and there was even wash up liquid and dish washer tabs. Pool was fantastic and spotless. The villa was in a quiet and peaceful area and a short walk from the supermarket.
We had a problem with the folding doors (last guest had broken the lower ones) but Ian came round within a couple of days and managed to fix one side.
A book with information regarding the whereabouts of the keys for the folding doors and how to operate the safe would have been welcome. The main bedroom and en suite were fab however the other upstairs double bedroom had a bit of an odd layout, a broken chest of drawers and a hanging rack for clothes. The downstairs sleeping area with en suite was very roomy but this area is only separated from the large seating area by a part trellis wall and door which means a slight lack of privacy when bottom folding doors are open.
All in all we had a fabulous holiday here. Nerja is a wonderful place. We usually rent an apartment here but this villa with it’s gorgeous pool made the holiday.

Perfect
We are just back from a weeks stay at Casa Wahl. Booking was really easy and great contact by email from the management company.
On arrival we were very impressed overall, the Villa was spotless and very well equipped. We did request additional sun loungers and this was done promptly. Also had a minor issue with a shower and again this was attended to expeditiously.
Would highly recommend this villa if looking for something of high spec

Excellent stay for a wedding
7 of us had an excellent stay here in September for a friends wedding. 2 couples and 3 singles so the 5 bedrooms suited us perfectly. All 3 doubles are a good size but the 2 twins rooms are a little tight. All cooking equipment was provided and we arrived to find the apartment well cleaned with plenty of towels left on every bed. 2 of our party couldn't connect to the WiFi but the other 5 had no difficulties so perhaps it was their phones but I personally had no problems. Pool was fantastic and there was a lilo and a few bats and balls left out to play with by the pool which we enjoyed. We actually added to the collection but not sure if they'll be left for future guests or not. 10 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the local supermarket although you do have to face some hefty hills but this is hard to avoid in Nerja! 15/20 minute walk to the square but would advise a taxi for these hills which only costs €7. I would happily recommend this property to anyone

Casa Wahl Villa
We spent 10 days in Casa Wahle, 5 Adults,and 5 children.We could not say a bad word about our stay.The children had a ball,couldn't keep them out of the pool,which is a great size.The layout of the villa is excellent,plenty of space,and we'll stocked for all your needs.I would highly recommend Casa Wahl to any family,or group..We were there for our daughters wedding,and it was perfect for us.Any problems we had Ian was on hand at the end of the phone to help us.....10 out of 10 Casa Wahl. ...

Great holiday - party of 10 friends
We have just returned from a week at Casa Wahl. Five couples enjoyed our stay at the villa. Good sized villa but two of the bedrooms more suited to children. Quite small with lack of storage.
The barbecue area was on the pool level and food had to be carried upstairs to lounge/dining area to tables. Would have been better if this was all at same level.
Great pool but as this was early in year water very cold. Could do with heating
We had problems with internet access in the villa but some of us had 4G so not a problem more of an inconvenience
No basic cleaning materials in villa when we arrived.
The villa is high up steep hill but we knew this from previous reviews. Supermarket within walking distance and we got taxi back with supplies. They will also arrange delivery
First class service from agent at C & G who arranged mini bus transfers. Second time we have used them and would not hesitate to recommend.

Det perfekta stället
Nyss hemkommen efter att ha firat min 60-årsdag i Casa Wahl Nerja. Jag och min sambo, mina 4 barn med respektive + 2 barnbarn 7 o 10 år har bott i huset. Alla var jättenöjda med huset som är rymligt och har alla bekvämligheter man behöver.
Poolen var något alla älskade, en riktig lyx. Vi promenerade till stranden och badade i havet och på kvällarna gick vi till centrum och åt på någon av de mysiga
restaurangerna. Jag rekommenderar verkligen detta hus och ställe.

Superb villa.A must go to resort.
After careful research we decided on Casse Wahl and boy was it the right choice.Absolutely superb.The pictures do it justice but there was more.Everything went like clockwork from being transferred to and from the airport to easy access to the beautiful town of Nerja and Its surround.
Yes Nerja is hilly but the villa is within 10 minutes downhill to the beach (Burriana)and another 5 minutes from there to the centre of town. Getting back is easy enough by taxi which is cheap and regular.On top of this there is a huge supermarket a stones throw away from the villa.
Would we return to this villa? No doubt about it.Do we recommend it ? Certainly.It is ideal for families.The bedrooms are excellent and there are so many nooks and crannies.For example there is a wonderful shaded area just off the pool.You think you are in a Moroccan courtyard. Everything seems to have been thought through.The pool is also a welcome bonus and again we loved it.
This villa and the agency deserve credit.The latter are easily contactable and arrange everything.The pool is spotless.Nerja is beautiful and the holiday was one of the best we have had.A great place.Go there you will not be disappointed.
