Old Forge I has two spacious double bedrooms, with queen size beds that can be separated to form single 3ft beds, both with en suite shower rooms and underfloor heating. The living room has very comfy sofas, a 42' smart TV, docking station, a log burner and dining area for 6 . The kitchen has all the appliances you need and granite worktops. There is full central heating throughout and all service water is supplied via a rainwater harvesting system. The garden has a patio area with garden furniture for your sole use, it is landscaped with beautiful flora to attract wildlife and fruit trees also an organic vegetable patch from which you can pick your vegetables for a complimentary meal.

I recently had my third stay at these lovely cottages. Once again, we were sorry to leave as we had such a nice relaxing time. The owners Paul and Karin are so accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend.

A truly great find. A great central location for traveling in all directions. A really lovely 2 Bedroom, 2 bathroom (both en-suite) with Living/Dining and Kitchen facilities. Fully Equipped and immaculate. Lovely garden, so peaceful and quiet. Great Host.

About the neighborhood
The award winning Silvermines is a rural village, peaceful and quiet. Along side the mountain river there is a nature trail and picnic area with so many different birds and wildlife, even bats!. There are wild horses,deer and goats which you might encounter whist walking or cycling in the silvermines mountain trails. There are old preserved stone Cornish engine pumping houses left over from the days of mining which you can explore.
The village has a pub , grocery shop and taxi service.
Only 10 minutes drive is the market town of Nenagh where you can find many pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques and supermarkets. There is a farmers and country market on Friday and Saturday where you can get home made preserves and artisan breads.
