Amazing views from the house and from the lovely private garden. Fabulous location between two pubs which serve great food and very close to beach. Mary and Patsy were very generous and left milk, butter, biscuits, cereal etc and even treats for our dog! We will be back.

Management response:

Thank you so much for your kind review. I am glad you enjoyed your holiday and look forward to meeting you again some time.

This lodge is small but perfectly formed!!! It has the most amazing views over Rossnowlagh Bay. The sunsets in May were just awesome. You can either walk or drive to the beach. The main beach is about 1.5 miles long and you can drive it all the way. The lodge is also perfectly placed for exploring the Donegal and Sligo...

Management response:

Thank you Richard for your kind review. I am glad you enjoyed your holiday and Rossnowlagh's glowing sunsets. I hope we'll meet again sometime.

About the neighborhood
Rossnowlagh is best known for its mile long beach, one of the great surf beaches of the Irish northwest, with a gently sloping sandy declivity ideal for beginners. It is a semi-rural, crime free location, quiet in winter and livelier in summer. There is a vibrant summer surf scene with opportunities to learn surfing and SUP. Winter brings bigger waves for the hard core surfers. As well as the beach, the rugged shoreline between Rossnowlagh and Ballyshannon offers a splendid coastal walk along cliffs and dunes to where the great Erne River meets with the pounding waves of the Atlantic.
