Villa DahlMar, at 1,000 feet above sea level, provides an incredible view of the enchanting, rainforest valley known as the Hills of Portalon. This amazing lush valley, filled with wildlife, naturally draws your gaze toward the ocean waves crashing onto stunning Matapalo beach, only a few minutes drive below. You will quickly realize why portions of the movie "Jurassic Park" were filmed nearby. There's plenty of room at Villa DahlMar for up to 8 guests. Three of the bedrooms are ensuite, complete with private baths and closets. The office has a couch that folds out to a double bed, great for the kids. At 1,000 feet above sea level, the villa is quite comfortable with open windows, valley breezes, and ceiling fans throughout. Villa DahlMar is beautifully situated on 5 acres in the heart of Costa Rica's most popular area between Manuel Antonio and Dominical. The property provides the ultimate in privacy yet is minutes away from the most sought after activities in the country. There is a pristine, public beach minutes away on the southern Pacific coast with no charge or limits to access. Guests can schedule endless activities, through TripAdvisor, including but not limited to waterfalls, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, ocean cruises, zip-lining, rapelling, white water rafting, National Park tours, deep sea or inshore fishing, guided tours, etc. Quepos offers Costa Rica's newest Marina. Grocery stores & restaurants bound nearby.
Getting around
While public transportation is available, we highly recommend renting a 4-wheel car for convenience. We recommend VAMOS in San Jose because they are very accomodating, honest, and dependable. More information is available upon your booking.
