The modern house is built to take advantage of the magnificent landscape and light from every angle, be it a double height all glass foyer to being equipped with large sliding glass doors in all the rooms. From every room in the house, one has the most amazing ocean views, including from the bathtub or shower. The large doors in the living and dining area open up to provide a feeling of being outside. It has a modern European designer kitchen (which is staffed with everything you need) and an open plan living and dining room set up and is perfect for entertaining. Its 5 meter high ceilings in the main living areas provide a feeling of magnificent space and keep it cool in the summer. A gas fireplace completes the experience and caters for some colder nights.
The bedrooms are very spacious and equipment with very high quality extra length King size or single beds, and all have en-suite bathrooms with walk in shower and bathtub. As 2 of the 3 bedrooms are very large, this is also is ideal for 2 couples to travel together as you can both enjoy your master suite with stunning ocean views and a wellness style bathroom.
There is also separate TV room with a large LED TV to provide an additional living area without any disturbance, and of course a separate scullery with dishwasher and washing machine to keep the main living space nice and quiet. Your cars can be parked in a double garage. It is a self catering villa, so no daily cleaning is provided, but housekeeping can be arranged upon request at additional costs.
Just 100 meter from the house also starts the path along the 18th hole to the Golf Clubhouse, 5 star restaurants and Spa, or into the Pezula nature reserve. There is also a secluded private beach of the Estate via a hike. The common tennis court and swimming pool is only a 2 minute drive away.
Overall a magnificent place to relax, while being close to all the attractions and entertainment Knysna has to offer.

What a magnificent house and location, heaven on earth...the views are so spectacular. The villa is also great equipped with everything you need and super comfortable beds....was only there for a couple of days but the relaxation value was immense. Also the pool in the estate is great, with views over the lagoon. For sure will return again.

Exceptional estate. From the guards at the gate that was always welcoming to the unbelievable view and the friendly residents

Highly Recommend
Blue Ocean has stunning views of the Pezula Golf Course and the ocean from both master bedrooms and the living/dining room. The house is modern, clean and had everything we needed for our 15-day stay. Quality of sleep is important to us, and the beds were very comfortable. Also, as we were travelling with another couple, so having two master suites worked out extremely well. Although it does not have AC, there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and even on the hot nights, it was very comfortable. The sliding glass doors in the living area open right up, and there was a lovely ocean breeze. The house is well located with a short drive to East Head Cafe (our favourite lunch spot) and town. Also, having the Pezula Hotel close by, was great on our first night when we wanted a quick bite before settling in. We had very high expectations as the pictures of Blue Ocean were exceptional, and the house definitely delivered. Oliver was great to deal with as was Tina (the property manager) and we highly recommend this property. Thank you Oliver for a wonderful stay!

Traumhaft schöne Lage mit wunderschönem Blick aufs Meer und moderner, eleganter Einrichtung von hoher Qualität.
Es hat alles geklappt wie ausgemacht.
Ein besonderer Vorteil ist, dass man sehr sicher ist in dieser Golfanlage.
Alle 3 Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und
haben Baeder en-suite sowie Meerblick.
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

Phenomenales Haus
Ein absolutes Traumhaus, der Blick ist einfach unglaublich, von überall im Haus.
Die Architektur, das Licht – einfach nur genial. Eine richtige Erholungsoase mit viel Platz, tollen Badezimmern und super bequemen Betten...und immer wieder der unglaubliche Blick mit dem leisen Rauschen des Ozeans wenn man auf der Terasse sitzt. Auch die Ausstattung des Hauses ist Top, alles da was man braucht.
Die Lage im Golfresort ist perfekt, komplett ruhig und die Golfer sind weit weg und hört man nicht. Auch der Golfplatz ist ein Traum.
Alles von der Buchung bis zum check in/out lief reibungslos. Komme sehr gerne wieder und kann das Haus wärmstens empfehlen

Absolute Beautiful place to stay
The house and its location are breathtaking, waking up to those views is really something. Very well-equipped home and a great place to relax, play some golf and explore the Knysna area. We wished we could have stayed longer, for sure will be back. Highly recommended. Thanks for this wonderful experience.

Modernes Haus im Pezula Golfresort mit traumhaftem Blick auf das Meer und einige Fairways
Wunderschönes Haus, moderne lichtdurchflutete Architektur, gut ausgestattete Küche, Doppelgarage, Waschmöglichkeit. Auf Wunsch House keeping möglich. Wir waren 5 Personen.
2 gut ausgestattete Schlafzimmer im oberen Stock, 1 kleineres Zimmer im Parterre.
Kleiderschränke nur in den großen Schlafzimmern. Steckdose in Spiegelnähe zum Haare föhnen nicht in allen Zimmern vorhanden. Badezimmer im Master Bedroom könnte bessere Lichtquellen vertagen zum Schminken u. Rasieren.
Es empfiehlt sich einen Vergrösserungsspiegel mitzunehmen.
Die Maintenance hat noch Verbesserungspotential: Die Schiebetüren sind teils verklemmt u. lassen sich schlecht öffnen bzw. schließen. 1 Garagenöffner u. 1 Hausschlüssel ist etwas wenig bei mehr als 4 Personen.
2 Liegestühle f. max. 8 Pers. sind knapp
Da bekannterweise immer wieder mal der Strom ausfällt, sollten genügend Kerzen u. Streichhölzer bereitgestellt werden.
Der Kugelgrill hat auch schon bessere Tage erlebt, auch alles verklemmt, schade.
Gut zu wissen, als Gast im Resort bekommt man eine Ermäßigung auf’s Greenfee, unbedingt vorab per Mail buchen u. bestätigen lassen.
Wir haben’s genossen und würden wieder kommen. Es ist ein gutes Gefühl in einem bewachten Resort zu wohnen.

Traumhaus mit atemberaubendem Ausblcik
Für eine Woche hatten wir die Blue Ocean Villa im März gemietet. Zwar hat das herbstliche Wetter den Himmel nicht immer tiefblau gefärbt. Aber die milden Temperaturen haben uns absolut entschädigt. Das Haus ist äußerst geräumig und bestens für sechs Bewohner geeignet. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Die offene Küche mit angschlossenem Eß- und Wohnzimmer ermöglicht ein schönes Zusammensein. Genial sind die großen Schiebefenster zum Garten und zur Seeseite. Man sitzt geschützt und doch im Freien. Toll. Wir kommen gern wieder und können das Haus absolut empfehlen.

Majestic Haven
Perfection doesn't even begin to describe this Villa. Breathtaking views from when you wake up. I would lay in bed with the curtains drawn out to just take in the view. Not to mention ample cupboard space. I am definetly coming back because a week was just not enough.

Knysna is located in the Western Province in South Africa and is the heart of the Garden Route. Cape town is about a 5 hour drive away and the closest airport is in George, which is only 60km from Knysna and offers multiple daily flights to and from Cape town, Johannesburg or Durban.
The Pezula Golf Estate and the BLUE OCEAN VILLA is only a couple minutes drive from the city center and you can follow the signs. To get to the house, please go to the first security gate of the Estate on your right when you drive up the hill before the Pezula Clubhouse

From Knysna you can reach almost any place in the garden route in approx 1 hour or less, Plettenberg Bay is only 25 mins away, George with a very large selection of shopping malls and Golf courses 1 hour.

How to get there

If you are coming from George/Wilderness go through Knysna and then turn right after the Quick Spar / gas station and follow the signs for Pezula/Sparrebosch and drive along the Lagoon.
If you are coming from Plettenberg Bay turn left before the Quick Spar / gas station and follow the signs for Pezula/Sparrebosch along the Lagoon. Do not go into Knysna town, the turn is before the town.
