Modern and tasteful Two-Bedroom-Holiday-Home! This beautiful apartment offers a large bedroom with a full en-suite bathroom. The living area leads to an open-plan dining room and a modern fully fitted kitchen with a gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, oven, dishwasher, and a dining area. The washing machine and tumble dryer is hidden in a built-in cupboard. The lounge also boasts a fireplace and a 40' Smart-TV and leads into a small garden (with Weber Braai) which is nicely illuminated at night. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: CON708

Secure, good location in Constantia

This small comfortable cottage is very well equipped for a self catering stay. The maid service is first class and the cottage is spotless. Being in Constantia means that you can visit all the main places of interest including golf courses. Secure parking just outside the door is great. The patio is small and can be a little noisy. The owner is very helpful and lives close by.

Thanks a lot for that great review! My wife and I are so happy that you loved our Cottage Chenin that much. I have been there today with our electrician and we repaired one of the big ceiling lights in the lounge and optimized the illumination in the patio. Thanks for replacing the broken beer glass. The replacement is absolutely fine. Hopefully we will see you again soon. You have been wonderful guests!

About the neighborhood

Our area is called Constantia Valley, the jewel of the Cape, steeped in history and breathtaking scenery. It is the birthplace of the wine farming industry in South Africa. World-class wines are being produced in these lovely green surroundings and accoladed for its escalating quality. Visitors can taste the fine wines and experience a unique journey through each of the 8 open-for-public farms, which also hold top-class Restaurants, namely e.g. Chef’s Warehouse at Beau Constantia and Buitenverwachting. The farms are all within a few minutes’ drive of each other. With two top-class golf courses within the valley and two others in the vicinity, Constantia is well known as one of the golfing paradises of the world. White-sanded beaches nearby.

Getting around

The best way to see the sights is to use a rental car. Alternatively, UBER-Taxies are always available in the area. Standard taxies can be organized by us (arranged pick-up times). Major railway stations are in Plumstead and Wynberg. Local bus lines or black taxies are not recommendable.

How to get there

Coming from the Cape Town International Airport, take Highway N2 to Cape Town. At 'Groote Schuur' (big hospital on the right) leave N2 to the left at the sign “M3 to Muizenberg”. Follow M3 and pass exits Rondebosch, Kirstenbosch, Claremont, Bishopscourt, and 'Constantia Main Road' until turnoff no. 15, Kendal Road. Turn left on Kendal Road into the area of Morningstar/The Vines/Constantiaberg and turn left again (next) into Walloon Road. After ca. 300 meters stop at the big white gate (yellow walls) on the right side, no. 14, and ring the bell “Office”.
