There is crockery and cutlery for a minimum of four people. Long Street has many exciting pubs, nightclubs and restaurants serving a wide range of international cuisine to suit all tastes. I will gladly provide you with a list of great restaurants to visit near the apartment and in greater Cape Town. The famous Greenmarket Square (selling African curios and art) and the serene Company Gardens (housing the SA Museum & Planetarium) are around the corner from the apartment. Please see the photos for a visual feel of the area. The apartment is ideally located with easy access to all the major tourist attractions including Table Mountain (5 mins by car), blue flag beaches like Clifton & Camps Bay (10 mins by car), the V&A waterfront (5 mins by car or 15 min walk), Company Gardens (5 mins walk) & Greenmarket Square (1 min walk). You can take the MyCiti bus outside the apartment to the V&A waterfront area or Camps Bay & Clifton Beaches. The V&A is great for shopping and houses many restaurants and pubs. The two Oceans Aquarium is located in the V&A Waterfront. You can also take a tour of the Cape Peninsula and visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens which is a world heritage site. You can catch the City Sightseeing Bus outside the apartment too. Bus tickets and sightseeing tours can be booked at several tour operator shops located near Digital satellite TV is available free of charge for your convenience and use. Super Lage für alle Unternehmungen. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Direkt vor der Tür ist alles was man braucht: Taxis, Bank, Cafés, Friseur, Haltestelle der Stadtrundfahrtsbusse, tolle Restaurants. Wir waren 4 Wochen da und brauchten kein eigenes Auto.

The flat is beautifully appointed and well located, right in the middle of the city. The living room and master bedroom have huge windows and unbelievable views of Table Mountain. Tiago, the owner, met us upon our arrival, though it was late (after 2200). The building is secure, with security and keyed entry to the elevators, though we walked freely around the neighborhood all day long and never felt unsafe. Everything was immaculate. The two bedrooms with ensuite were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and has a sizable table with six stools. The basic amenities included towels, bathroom supplies, coffee and tea, dish and dishwasher detergent, and clothes-washing detergent-and we had access to some extras as well. The living room has a large sofa with lounger, providing comfort and a great spot to enjoy the views of the mountain and the "table cloth" of clouds that roll in. The wifi, the most important amenity for us, worked well. There are lots of electronic amenities, including Netflix and DSTV, though the wifi is the only thing we used. There is a huge workout facility just across the street and a pool upstairs in the building, to which you can have access as well (though our exercise was walking all around this beautiful city). The washing machine works great, and the clothes drying rack was fine. There is a great vegetable and fruit market just across the street, Food Lover's Market, with a large salad and hot food bar. The neighborhood abounds with markets and restaurants. We walked all around the central city. The walk to Table Mountain is long and uphill, and the walk to the V and A Waterfront is a bit of a distance, so a taxi or Uber (the owner Tiago recommended Uber as economical and safe) is likely the way to go. The cable way ride to the top of Table Mountain is well worth the price. Great bargain tip: The hop on/hop off all-day train pass on the Southern Line is only R35 per person. We went to the end, to Simon's Town, where we walked to The Boulders, about 45 minutes each way, to see the Penguin Colony. The train is a local, with many stops, and follows a breathtaking route right along the coast. A person we met on the train said that she doesn't usually see Americans riding the Southern Line.

The wonderful apartment has safety as first priority!! Guard at door: followed by key to leave elevator foyer on the floor and key to enter room!! The bed was most wonderful with luxury linens. So quiet above a famous Long Street my daughter slept well into the morning. Long Street has marvelous restaurants. This was more than outstanding

In Long Street, the very center of Cape Town, with a great view on Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Literally right above one of the stops of the Hop-on Hop-Off busses. A supermarket with foodcourt just two blocks away. At walking distance from the Waterfront and all of the sites worth seeing in the center. Well equipped appartment with 2 bedrooms and a nice terrace. Excellent WIFI. The landlord can facilitate transportation from the Airport to the appartment. Cars can be rented in the city center and returned to the airport without extra cost. The landlord provided a very convenient parking spot in the building some levels beneath the appartment.

Wonderful stay from the moment Brad so kindly collected us from Cape Town Station. Apartment perfect for 2 adults & 2 kids,11 &14.11yr old slept on very comfy lounge with no complaints! Bedding provided @ no extra charge.Excellent red sight seeing bus & booking office just next door & Greenmarket Square practically at the door. Great bakeries & restuarants all along Long Street (apartment fronts onto Long St). Within very easy walking distance of Bo Kaap & Company Gardens. Views of Table Mountain / Lions' Head/ City bowl from the balcony are superb & perfect for watching the sunrise / sunset, & the "tablecloth" roll in over the mountain. Not to be missed!

Our first (and not last) trip to South Africa and Cape Town was an amazing experience. We had 5 days with our 2 grown daughters for Cape Town and absolutely loved the location, the amenities Brad and Cheryl's apartment gave us! The view by itself is fantastic! We found the location a great jumping off spot to go anywhere. Loved Tiger's Milk across the street for an afternoon pint or wine and the food was great too! Most important is Brad and Cheryl. They are terrific hosts. Very helpful with getting checked in and finding the parking garage and greeting us with a little sparkling wine! nice. When leaving, we had a early flight and with the hustle and bustle of getting all 4 of us going, left behind a bit of money in a drawer! (oh no!) We were sooooo relieved after landing in Johannesburg to find Cheryl had found it!!! She and Brad went to a lot of trouble to get it changed and transferred to our US bank account, but they did and we thank them dearly for that! If you are in Cape Town, definitely stay here!

Located in the 12th story of an appartment house in the centre of Cape Town (Long street, one of the most touristic streets). One smaller and one big bedroom, one bathroom (with supplied shampoo and shower gel), a kitchen (well equipped), a lounge and a balony with a stunning view on the mountains of Cape Town. Two queen size beds, so enough room for 4 people. The garage for the car is in the same building on the eighth level, the parking area is easy to drive through. Also it is guarded. Although the appartment is located in Long Street it was pretty quite. When we arrived the owner would pick us up at the parking bay and show us the appartment. To welcome us she brought a bottle of sparkling wine. That was a lovely start of our time in Cape Town :)

We stayed in the apartment only four nights and five days which was not enough time. It is perfectly located in Cape Town, close to the Green Market Square, the hop on, hop off buses and the Long Street, but still three-four blocks from the noisiest parts. Our two children, 12 and 14 years old were thrilled and appreciated the location, the modernity of the apartment, the nicly made and clean bathroom and the balcony just as much as we did. After almost two weeks in a camper van, we also appreciated the clean and high standard of the sheets and beds, the bathroom and towels, the highly equipped kitchen and the fact that we found small details in the apartment that made life easier for us; brouchures, soap, salt and pepper etc. The location is just perfect. It is close enough to the Water Front to walk back and forth but in the evening when we were tired we could just sneak out and find a good restaurant nearby. There is also a bakery just around the corner were we could buy fresh bread every day. Brad P was extremely helpful and very receptive to our needs (and confusion) which made the entire visit even more enjoyable. We are already planning for our next trip and would choose this particular apartment again.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Brads Apartment. Die 87 m² große Wohnung liegt direkt in Kapstadts populärster Einkaufs- und Nightlife-Straße Longstreet am Greenmarket Square - zentraler geht es nicht! Vom 12 m² großen Balkon hoch über den Dächern hat man den besten Panorama-Blick über die Stadt bis zum Tafelberg, Devils Peak, Lions Head und Signal Hill. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und es fehlte wirklich nichts - sogar ein paar kühle Bier standen zur Begrüßung bereit. Die Schlüsselübergabe klappte problemlos und unkompliziert. Beim Checkout durften wir bis Nachmittag bleiben, da das Apartment gerade frei war. Der kostenlose Garagenstellplatz ist in der Innenstadt sehr hilfreich. Der Internet-Anschluß funktionierte immer einwandfrei. Ein wirklich großartiges Apartment welches wir auf definitiv weiterempfehlen.
