Mananga offers a luxurious bush experience, authentically designed and decorated with two beautifully designed en-suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and patio, set beautifully in the heart of the African bush. Guided Private Safaris are done in Kruger National Park only 800 meters away..
We stayed here as a base for visiting Kruger national park and had a brilliant, comfortable time. We miscalculated driving from Johannesburg/sunset and turned up in the dark, a member of staff had waited to let us in and show us round which was very much appreciated. The villa is beautiful and clean, plenty of room and more for two people and the beds are huge. Impala, baboon and hares regularly pottered about the lawns, and apparently sometimes leopards and snakes are seen! The only place really to eat nearby was the Marriott hotel just down the track and we had some lovely meals there.
Would not hesitate in recommending this as a place to stay right by Paul Kruger gate, very good value.

Mananga Private Bush Retreat - what a lovely place to be
We stayed 4 nights at Mananga to visit Kruger Park.
Very nice and spacious house on the premise of Protea Hotel. Enjoyed the privacy and peace of Mananga surrounded by bush land with wild animals.
Self catering is an options as the kitchen ist well equipped. 700m driving to get to Protea Hotel for dinner.
We loved to stay here and would come back on the next trip.
