We've just been lucky enough to spend two weeks staying in this delightful B & B. We cannot praise the owners, Sonja and Gerd, highly enough. The standard of the accommodationv is very high and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Should we return to South Africa again, we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Obliging, friendly and extremely helpful in lovely accommodation
We found the accommodation: just like home: very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Felt as if we knew them and would recommend to anyone.

Of course hosting becomes a piece of cake when people like you turn up....easily pleased and appreciative.....you took the fact that we had no running water completely in your stride and you just came from the Kruger!

Great House, Amazing Host.
Stayed at Sonja's place during our December vacation in South Africa. the house is lovely we were occupying both the upstairs and Garden rooms and they are both exceptional. The bathrooms are lovely and huge. We were treated like royalty everyday with a great breakfast full of choices in the morning on the outside terrace. The view of the city is beautiful from the terrace. Sonja the host is amazing she treated us so well with respect and my daughter loved her. She was always there to answer all our questions and help us with anything.

Awesome B&B with great view of Joburg
This BB was located away from public transportation but I rented a car from the airport which made it easy for me to get around. Joburg is very big so I recommend renting a car anyway.
I stayed here for an entire week and was treated like royalty. I was given my choice of breakfast options daily and my coffee cup never went empty.
I stayed in the private room upstairs which had access to a balcony that had a great view, a private bathroom, my own coffee pot, and a spacious bathroom. The room also had a television , I didn't spend much time watching television but it had every channel and a few American channels as well.
Overall, I was comfortable here, I kept the door open at night and no mosquitos or pest bothered me, I had Wi-Fi access(very important to me). The cool breeze felt great as well, at night and the stars and lights from the city were beautiful. My next trip to Joburg I will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely but lovely
My traveling companion and I arrived in Johannesburg one day prior to our departing flight to Cape Town. I contacted Sonja less than 24 hours before our flight arrived. Sonja responded immediately also volunteered to provide the much needed transport service from the Airport to the condo. Sonja was a great hostess she gave us a very warm welcome, and made us feel at home. She even washed and provided temporary clothing after my luggage was delayed. The house is every bit as nice as it looks on the pictures it was very charming, quaint, and comfortable. The shower was also wonderful however, there were not many television channels to choose from. The price was right, the service nice I highly recommend this place.

Sorry we forgot to issue the remote, but since our late arrival back from the airport and early departure we did not think that the lack of the full TV programs was too much of a problem.

Clean accommodation. Shower would be good.

Thank you for your honest feedback.....We took your suggestion to heart and a wonderful large walk in shower was installed as was a new vanity in the renovated bathroom.
All TV channels as per premium DSTV are available....will show you next time you stay....

a fabulous host.
It does not get better than this. Sonjas hospitality and support was exceptional. We stayed with Sonja for over a month whilst we were in South Africa, March/April 2015.
We arrived in South Africa and welcomed Sonjas youngest guest ever, a few day old baby boy who was welcomed with open arms (and cuddles). Sonja made it possible for us to have facilities available for sterilisation of bottles (via a gas cooker) and all the freedom as if it was out own home. We felt truly welcome!
The complex is in a security area and one feels very safe, we also had the luxury of being able to park directly in the garage and had free rein of the place. The house is well located in the vicinity of four ways shopping mall, cresta, 2km to the freeway and central to many business districts.
Sonja is wealth of information (not only locally) and supported us too, in the administrative nightmare of South African bureaucracy.
I would like to add that Sonja is genuine person, she is kind, warm, considerate and a fabulous host with whom to enjoy a glass of wine with whilst sitting around the fire or on the terrace for a scrumptious morning breakfast.
Sonja comes highly recommend on every level.

Great house, great host, great hospitality!
Stayed twice at Sonja's place on our SA vacation in July 2015. A lovely house in a secured housing complex (safe for children to play outside), with a great fireplace and huge bathrooms the size of a bedroom. Huge breakfast included, that I couldn't even finish.
Recommended.

spectacular vieuw from ur bedroom
to start with, the vieuw when u wake up , or later in the day when u hav ur drink, to see the sun rise is a treat , and to see the sky change later when the sun sets with a drink in ur hand, what more can u ask for
ok than u can also enjoy the company of ur host, Sonja, she is almost as bright as the sun itself, always in for a good laugh, and she makes unfeel at home
we had a wonderful two months almost in het little paradise that is located so well, u are out of town within five minutes, a,little to the north and u are surrounded by hilly countryside
well what else can i say? enjoy ure stay!!!!!

North Riding is THE place to stay if you want to be close to the Randburg CBD, The Ticket pro Dome, Kya Sands Business Park,
the Olivedale Clinic or Fourways with Montecasino.
Shopping malls include Northgate and Fourways and plenty little ones scattered all around.
A few kilometers in a northerly direction, you find yourself out of town and in the bush, with wildlife in game reserves all around.
Good restaurants and eateries abound.
Highways are within easy access.
