The condo is very nice and well located on the main street of Jaco. Everything is at working distance, beach, restaurants and shops. Taxis cost 2$ if you have to carry heavy bags. It is a safe place checked 24 hours by security guards on site. The guards also take care that condo rules are followed and it helps to keep the condo quiet, safe and clean. The pool and Jacuzzi are well maintained which is good because it is actually so hot that you may spend quite some time around and in the pool. It is also a nice place for socializing. We found nice people to go out with us nights and to travel to the Manuel Antonio Park. Our rental was a nice and very clean renovated unit. We could compare it with other vacation rentals in the condo and we could not find anything better. Actually, it is as shown on the pictures. It is tastefully decorated and you have everything needed to cook, clean and immediately take a shower. There is even a cell phone ready for use with a Costa Rican number so that you can immediately give and receive calls if necessary. This was one of several nice details that really makes the difference among vacation rentals and hosts. Just: do not forget to have the apartment fumigated before your arrival. Finally, I would like to thank Shawn, the owner of this rental. He is just a great host. Already during our first e-mail exchanges for the booking, he was showing a lot of flexibility and professionalism. He answered all questions we had either on the same day of few days later when he was busy. We also receive a bunch of information per emails about the condo and its surroundings which greatly helps for planning from abroad. On the day of our arrival, Shawn spent some time to mark on a map everything you need to know about Jaco. We have just followed his tips and we have not been disappointed. Shawn also lives two houses away and it was easy to ask for help or few additional questions when needed. He is always listening and immediately helping as much he can. Shawn just made our vacation in Jaco a greater experience. If I go back to Jaco, I will just try to book the same place.
