You can see the ocean from the house, feel the breeze, just 10 steps and your feet are on the sand! Relax and enjoy an independant holiday in a full equiped house!

No smoking allowed in the house. The house is located in a residential neighbourhood with lots of privacy but we want visitors to respect our neighbours so no parties at the house. The house is the ideal place for families, couples and groups of friends that would like to enjoy the calmness of the house and the area and relax in this little piece of paradise.

About the neighborhood
Playa Negra is a nice and tranquil area, the beach is not crowded so you have it almost for your self. The houses are all surrounded with gardens so it is a good feeling of privacy. There are 2 restaurants near by in case you wish to have dinner of lunch, even breakfast! There is a grocery store 3 minutes away where you can get basic things for cooking. Puerto Viejo town center is about 15 minutes away by bike, there you can find a lot of good restaurants, suveniers and grocery stores. There is a Yoga Gazebo right in the back of the house, you can join daily yoga classes at 8:30am from Monday to Friday.

How to get there
There are 4 ways how to get from San Jose airport to the house: 1. Private transport from the airport to the house, this will take you more or less 4 hours depending on traffic, the cost goes from $170 to $200 depending on amount of persons. 2. Shared shuttle, from San Jose for 49pp, pick up at hotel in San Jose and drop off at the house 3. Taxi from airport to bus station, then public bus to Puerto Viejo. This way is the cheapes, I can organize a taxi to pick you up at the airport and bring you to the bus station to take the direct bus to Puerto Viejo. 4. Pacuare river rafting, this is the funest way to travel from San Jose to the house, even from Arenal to Puerto Viejo in case you are in that area. The pick up would be at the hotel in Sa Jose or Arenal around 6:00am, then a drive to Siquirres where the river is, 4 hours of fun rafting including the breakfast and lunch. Then drop off at the house! The price is $99pp In case you have any questions let me know I will be happy to help!
