No need for a swimming pool…you have the privilege of the ocean as your swimming pool! Steps from the house, the warm ocean is calm for swimming every day.
The main house features four bedrooms, four and a half baths and sleeps up to 10 guests. 2 bedrooms are on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms on the second floor. Casa Caricaco is perfect for family reunions or friend’s getaways. Enjoy the ocean breeze and sea views from the living room, beachfront terrace, and fully equipped kitchen.
On the ground floor, there is a master bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. This is our favorite bathroom…with a rain shower where you can shower under the sun or under the stars! The second bedroom has 2 single beds. There is a full bathroom next to this room.
On the second floor, there is an extensive terrace with plenty of seating area to enjoy the sound of the ocean and the tropical breeze. There are 2 bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, ocean views and en-suite bathroom. Additionally, there is a kids/family room with 2 bunk beds. Full size bed on the bottom bunk and single bed on top bunk. This room is deal for an entire family or for the kids. It has its own bathroom. On the second floor, for your convenience there is a half bathroom at the end of the hallway.
The fifth bedroom is actually a detached one-bedroom guest house (Casa Aqua) with its own private spaces. This guest house, has a bedroom with king size bed, 2 twin beds, a private bathroom, terrace with garden view and fully equipped kitchen. It’s ideal for a family or for someone who needs more privacy.
Casa Caricaco can be rented as a five bedroom (including the guest house called Casa Aqua) or as four bedroom villa. Take into consideration that if you rent only the main house the detached guest house will be available to rent to another guest. Do not worry about privacy, both properties have their own private spaces and they do not share any common area beside the parking lot.
The guest house is located on the back of the property and it has its own separate access to the beach.
For your convenience, a daily housekeeping service is provided. We also provide beach towels, mats and beach umbrella. We offer a concierge service to help make your stay more enjoyable.

Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste is the winner of the ‘Bandera Azul’ or ‘Blue Flag’, a prize given to beaches that demonstrate high environmental standards and excellent safety facilities. Meaning ‘beautiful beach’ in Spanish, Playa Hermosa has made a name for itself with its idyllic beauty and lush surroundings. A two-kilometer long grey sand beach, encircled by tropical forests and ridges of volcanic rock, Hermosa Beach is a great family destination for all to enjoy.
Walk to beachfront restaurants bars such as Aqua Sport or take a short drive to haute cuisine Ginger restaurant.

Beachfront Paradise! We spent a long weekend in this lovely house with another couple and our kids The house is very nicely decorated and the beachfront setting is a privilege. Thirty steps from the house terrace to the sand and the blue ocean. Walking distance to beachfront restaurants, and daily offerings of snow cones and fresh coconuts at our door step. We enjoyed staying at the house for beachfront meals under a the shade of a grand tree which is beautifully lit at night.
There were plenty of water activities in the area. We chartered a boat for snorkeling and swimming in a secluded beach, and subsequent picnic under the shade of a tree. Lovely setting and the kids loved the monkeys, hermit crabs, and other animals. We also enjoyed massages on the second floor terrace relaxing to the sound of the ocean waves.
Playa Hermosa is only 20 mins from the Liberia airport and the house is a great launch pad for visiting other nearby beaches, volcanoes and other activities. The house has all the necessary amenities. Best of all a house maid that cleans the house every day. Each couple had a master bedroom. The one in the bottom floor has no view, but well lit with a spectacular open sky bathroom with outdoor shower. The other master on the top floor has a view of the beach and surrounding greenery, even from the bathroom. A large room with bunkbeds for the little kids and a fourth room for our teenage daughter.
A perfect setting for our vacation and cannot wait to return.
