Most remarkable place we stayed in our Costa Rica trip
The most amazing, comfortable and magnificent place we stayed in 3 weeks in Costa Rica. The hot tub and fireplace were matched only by the fabulous architecture and mind-blowing vistas. Imagine living above clouds, watching them for, move, rise, fall, and everywhere you look below the house is lush green or sparkling city lights at night. There's so much to do, without crowds, from private waterfalls and mountain biking and rafting to simply lounging on the deck or eating dinner perched above the city lights in front of the fireplace. All of this beauty and peace, I almost forgot to mention the fresh air, the beautiful sheets and towels and bedding, the well equipped kitchen, and absolute privacy with not a curtain to close. Not to mention Franklin and Yamilet, who were there when we needed them... for laundry and restocking the fireplace or making the beds. Be sure to go with Franklin to the waterfall! We will be back.

Incredible place
This place is pure magic ! Nothing can describe the "Whaou effect" that hurt you when you enter the house the first time. The home is (over) fully equiped, the maid is a lovely "whirlwind". Lot of birds around, including Toucan. The owner is very helpfull. 200% satisfied... should have stay more, as all familly repeat me angrily.

It was a treat to be above the clouds at Volare
We had a great stay at Tucker's beautiful home outside Turrialba. We had spent a week on the Caribbean coast and this was just the relaxation we needed before our return home. The house is very well appointed. It was very luxurious to have a few meals made and cleaned up by Mau and Yami. Yami also beautifully took care of our laundry. Luckily we mentioned our plans to visit Irazu Volcano to Mau because he let us know we need a reservation and that the road isn't easy there but worth it. (Pack a sweatshirt if you go!). Mostly we just relaxed and watched the birds. Three toucans hung out near the house during our stay which was quite remarkable. It was a treat to be above the clouds at Volare.

A dream destination in the clouds
Volare is an INCREDIBLE place that needs to be experienced to truly appreciate it's beauty. But the house is not the only thing that Tucker, owner and adventurer, has to offer... Yes, you will get full access of the walk around porch perching you above the clouds with the toucans and the hot-tub attached by hanging bridge, but you also get the chance to upgrade your stay with a chef (Yami - truly a Costa Rican angel), a personal driver (Mau - simply the best and friendly guy), and adventure activities. My gal pals and I opted for Paragliding with Jose and river rafting! Turrialba is ~2hrs from San Jose and is so worth the visit. I am trying to get back to this wonderful place ASAP!
