We really enjoyed being on the water with the breeze coming through the sliding doors. Right next to Firefly for dinner (get reservations). The sound of the waves will lull you to sleep.

Shorebreak gives you a Real Break
Nice set up. Great breezes, great ambiance and fantastic scenery and sounds. Imagine the waves rolling in 24-7 just 6 steps from your stairs. Beautiful people and an good place to cool down when it gets too warm. We felt like we were in the "Shire" as the hobbit shaped doors and entrance ways bring you into Hobbit land in your mind. Hang around in the hammock or take in the ocean first hand from the beautiful upper or lower deck. Let the sounds of waves crashing on the beach ease you to sleep each night. Stroll down the path 75 steps and have a delicious dinner at the Firefly. The beach is very rocky out front, so bring water shoes. Trust me you might lose some weight with all the walking and places to go on the island. Take a hike to Wizard Beach, stroll down town. Take a ride to Red Frog. Kayak over to Hospital Point and snorkel with the fish in the bay. Enjoy a thrilling and refreshing jaunt to the Bat Cavern. You will not soon forget this place!

Just the way to get-away!
Living carefree. If you want a vacation like that, then you need to be here! This is the most beautiful home on the island of Bastimentos. Gorgeous views with constant ocean breezes. This home was built with love and you can tell by all the special touches from the most amazing stone shower to the doors that ope fully to a view of the Caribbean. You will not want for food, with plenty of quaint restaurants that you can walk to or take a short boat taxi ride to. The famous Firefly is right next door. If you don't feel like eating out, don't worry, you have a fully stocked kitchen and its a short walk to the store. You will not be a stranger long on Bastimentos. The locals are very welcoming. There is so much to do, we couldn't get it all done in the 10 days we were there. Endless surf breaks, lush jungle hikes, snorkeling, fishing, unbelievable wildlife, amazing food! You don't want to miss out. We will return again, again, and again! This is where we will stay!

Rewind & Recharge
You'd think someone from the Hawaiian Islands would choose a different vacation locale. But I'm glad I didn't. This place was like Maui X 10!! We there for one week and received more aloha than ever. The property is steps from the ocean and has everything you need. Walk to the local store or take a boat taxi to the other islands. The best thing was not having to drive car for a week. What a way to rewind!

If you are into water activities; this is the place! This custom home is located directly on the Oceanfront with 7 major surf destinations visible straight from the front porch. And yes, one is directly in front! Enjoy amazing Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Paddle Boarding, Free Diving, and Kayaking while island hoping! Each island in this chain is only a few minutes apart by boat. Water Taxi's are available to take you from island to island or on a guided tour. Day tours average $20-$25 a person while water taxi's range from only $1-$8 to jump from island to island. Bastimentos Island has the best untouched white sand beaches. Wizard Beach is a 20 minute hike through the rainforest or hop a boat to Red Frog Beach and Zip Line through the canopy. Enjoy a cave tour, hiking through the rainforest, surfing, bars, restaurants, and so much more.
