Welcome to our unique, bright and simple jungle cabins steps from the ocean. Fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle and wake up to the sounds of the waves. Built on 14 feet stilts, to bring you closer to the canopy and its wildlife - its feels like a tree-house! Have your camera ready as monkeys and birds are frequent visitors! Ideal for: surfers, nature lovers, explorers, photographers, wildlife enthusiasts and day-dreamers! 4 min walk to surf Paunch, 4 min to Tiger Tail. Outside of Bocas town (6 km/3.6 miles), close enough for nights outs, groceries and tours but far enough for tranquility, privacy and empty beaches.
Each cabin (30m2) has an open plan bedroom with double door opening onto private deck/porch, equipped kitchen (stove, mini-fridge, utensils etc) and bathroom with walk-in...

El mejor lugar entre la selva y el mar
Excelente lugar en medio de la naturaleza, animales exoticos y frente al mar...nada mejor que despertar con el canto de las avez y las olas...La gente esta muy agradable por todo el lugar.

Cozy jungle tree house!
We traveled to Bocas the first week of January and were lucky enough to stay in this cozy jungle tree house. We were greeted on arrival by our wonderful hosts, Maxi and Jane, who were more than accommodating to all and any of our needs and made us feel at home.
These beautiful bungalows are fully equipped. The kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner, and couldn’t have been cleaner upon our arrival. The same can be said for the full bathroom, with the mosaic shower overlooking the jungle. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable with the open-air feel.
The location couldn’t be better, nestled halfway between town and the picturesque Bluff Beach, which is perfect for surfing. Even though we are not in town, there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re a surfer or someone just looking to relax, this is a great spot to check out!

Cabanes ÉCO toutes neuves entre verdure et eau turquoise ! Accueil 20/20
Max et Jane est un couple international d’une grande simplicité qui vous racontera ses multiples aventures et voyages, autour d’un verre de rhum. Les enfants des familles indigènes voisines viennent charger leur portable et se faire aider pour leurs devoirs. C’est l’un d’entre eux qui nous a montré un crocodile qui somnolait tranquillement au bord de la rivière.
Leurs cabanes sur pilotis (hauteur = air) se cachent dans la jungle et rivalisent avec le sommet des arbres : on dort quasiment à la belle étoile, au sein de notre mère nature ! La douche est ouverte et offre un bain de nature. Elles sont équipées d’une kitchenette qui permet de faire ses repas sur place. Max et Jane laissent un approvisionnement à votre arrivée que vous réapprovisionnerez à votre départ.
L’emplacement à quelques kilomètres du village est idéal car vous êtes à deux pas de la plage de sable blanc et du meilleur spot de surf. Corail = poissons de toutes les couleurs (j’ai vu là mon premier calmar s’avaler un tout petit poisson). Promenade agréable entre la forêt et la plage jusqu’au bout de l’île où vous pourrez rencontrer des singes ! Alternative possible en vélo. Nous avons malheureusement raté la saison des tortues… Bref, c’est la nature à l’état pur et sauvage : tranquillité et paix assurées.
De là, on peut aussi faire des promenades en bateau et visiter d’autres îles…

Un lugar soñado
Un lugar con playas increíbles, con aguas cálidas, con mucho contacto con la naturaleza y con la mejor atención del mundo por parte de Maxi y Genia. Siempre predispuesto a ayudar y con el deseo de asesorar sobre las actividades que se pueden realizar respetando los tiempos y gustos de cada turista. Esa combinación de elementos hacen un lugar increíble al que deseo pronto poder volver

max et sa femme vous accueille dans un cadre magnifique a 100 metres de la mer , l'ile est magnifique et sauvage et max et sa femme sont de supers personnes demandait leur ce que vous voulez ils vous aideront toujours!

Perect Jungle atmosphere
It was a relaxed and very peaceful environment, we enjoyed the stay very much. I would say luxury in the jungle, warm duche, wifi and close to the water although the beach is a bit further away, however the nearby beach is perfect for surfers. it was just peaceful and relaxed. Maxi and Jane are very helpful and friendly !! I would come back anytime

excelente lugar y trato de los anfitriones.
La Ubicación es perfecta, sitio tranquilo con todas las facilidades para pasar unos dias mas que agradables, cerca de la playa, super limpio, mi intención era estar 5 dias y termine estando 18. Maxi y Jane los propietarios son encantadores, Volveremos a Alojarnos aquí!!

Amazing place
This place is great. If you love being in nature in a bautiful house. Its a brand new and very nicely build, decorated and well equiped place. Its about half an hour/45 min walking to town. But you can also easily take a cab, rent a bike or atv to take you around the island. For us it was much nicer than staying in town.
The owners make the place even better. The are very friendly and helpfull.
This is a must stay!!

Serene jungle "treehouse" cabin exactly as described
The description is spot on, this place is heaven! It isn't for high-maintenance types, rather it's for people like me who enjoy the sounds and sights of the jungle canopy and who want to feel a million miles away from town (but still be able to walk to restaurants/bars if I want a bite or drink).
Loved being high up, like the owners say, it feels like you're in a treehouse or on an overnight canopy tour. Overall it's the soothing look and feel of the place...great layout, color palette and decor...that made it so appealing to me. Wish I'd had two more days to just loll on the hammock outside my door, sipping coffee or a late afternoon vino. (I highly recommend bringing some of your own food/snacks and beverages when you come from town...there are restaurants nearby, on Paunch, but convenience stores are in town.)
Both places I stayed in town had small roaches find their way into the rooms (this is almost unavoidable in Bocas Town) but this place had none. Saw a couple little beetles and a cricket or grasshopper...I just said "hi, little guys!" and went to sleep.
There are several places to eat/drink nearby, right in the Paunch area, so you don't really have to go into town. I found Paunch to be a friendly, relaxed part of the island. Met lots of nice people, and gracious hosts Jane and Maxi are a wealth of information about Bocas. It's nice to know that you're dealing with well-established residents who understand the island (and try to do everything as sustainably as possible). Being halfway between town and Bluff, which is usually blissfully uncrowded, it also a huge plus.
I was actually due to leave Isla Colon on a Friday, but after meeting Jane and Maxi decided to stay an extra night.
Amenities:
My cabin was so perfect--for several reasons. It was spotless and the bathroom featured an attractive hot water shower. Towel and hand soap provided. Bathroom was very well-lit, which I appreciated. Lighting in the bedroom area was also so well thought-out, with an overhead and a reading lantern. Same goes for outlets to charge my phone.
Mosquito net provided, very important and appreciated. Actually, I barely got any mosquito bites my whole time in Bocas. (Little tip I learned from my time in India, when you get to a room with a mozzie net, lower it and spray the inner corners, then tuck tightly around the bed. By the time you get into bed that night...quickly, just lifting one side then tucking it back...any smell of bug spray will have dissipated and you should have a blissful night's sleep. When I am in a jungle setting I always put body repellent on, as well.)
Little kitchen just perfect as well, loved the "pass-thru" with stools on the little "terrace" outside. I loved eco-friendly touches like container for organic trash/compostable matter and filtered water in glass bottle. Didn't have time to cook anything but would definitely make use of kitchen during a future visit. Comfy bed and pillows, nice sheets, small blanket (which I didn't need but some nights here can get quite cool). There was a small fan but I didn't try it, temperature was perfect for me.
I loved hearing crickets and birds and howler monkeys...truly did not want to leave.

perfect place
Very nice and charming bungalow in the forest, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Location outside the town is very good (5 min only by taxi). Higly recommended !
