They´re at your disposal for any further questions or requests. Even one or two interesting insider tip can be given by your hosts. To communicate in German and little in English is no problem as well.
With 4 apartments, the maintained house offers enough space for 2 to 23 people. Two of the four apartments are located on the 2nd Floor of the house and another two on the third one. You can get to the beach quite fast, because it is just about 200 meters away. The cottage was completely renovated in 2010 , thus you needn´t to miss any comfort.

Nature lovers will enjoy themselves at their own expense, because the house is surrounded by flowers, gardens and fruit trees. Likewise, there is a barbecue place. For those arriving by car there is ample parking and, subject to availability, garage.
The biggest apartment 'Matea' in the house 'Villa Klaudia' has about 90 square meters and can accommodate 4 +1 guests. It was also built in July 2010 and thus has a new stylish yet comfortable interior. All together you have two bedrooms, one living room with satelite TV, a large kitchen and a spacious bathroom. A special highlight is the spacious terrace with an impressive sea view.
Adequate space and tranquil hours are provided by the double beds in the bedrooms. Furthermore, the apartment has additional space for another person. In the kitchen you haven´t to abdicate on anything even on vacation. In addition to an electric stove, a kitchen and a sink, you will also have a fridge-freezer, a coffee maker and a kettle. In the bathroom there is also no morning scramble, because it has a double sink and plenty of space. With a total of 3 air conditions, you always have a comfortable room temperature. Due to the modern TV set with a digital satellite reception you needn´t to miss English & German TV station.
For stays of 7 nights your linen is changed once a week. Furthermore, there is also a washing machine available according to prior agreement.

En fräsch lägenhet med fantastisk utsikt över havet.
Den här lägenheten var ren och fräsch med bekväma sängar och all utrustning du behöver. Balkongen var fantastisk med sol från morgon till kväll och med en utsikt som var magnifik. Läget var verkligen ett plus, nära till fina stränder och framförallt promenadavstånd till vackra Trogir där vi kunde strosa på kvällarna, äta gott och titta i mysiga butiker. Ett stort plus var även att lägenheten hade en gemensam pool. Väldigt uppskattat av barnen. Ägarna var mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma och vi kända oss väldigt trygga med dem.

Great apartment in good location
We were a family of 4 adults. The apartment was exactly as described on website. Very clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and a special mention for the super large squashy pillows. The pool area was well laid out with plenty of sun beds and parasols. But the best feature of all was the balcony which had a panaromic view over the bay.
The location is good with a supermarket within 5 mins walking distance and same distance to beach which has a good selection of beach bars and restaurant.
We would definitely recommend Villa Klaudia for anyone looking for somewhere slightly quieter away from the bustle of the main tourist areas.

Lovely apartment in good location with friendly and helpful hosts.
The apartment was great with everything we needed. The balcony is large and has fantastic views. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, giving us wine and grapes and organising airport taxis. We only went in the pool once but it was good. The beach is about 5 minutes walk and is stony but fantastic, blue, clear water. Trogir is beautiful and is 20 minute walk over the hill or similar time by ferry from the beach. Split was about an hour by ferry from Trogir and is also beautiful - larger and busier. Did diving, kayaking, jet ski and 3 island boat trip - all recommended. Climb steps from harbour up to the entrance of the park in Split for the best views. Is hilly and often steep.

Fantastic position and beautiful views from the balcony.
The owners were very welcoming and helpful and arranged a taxi from the airport. The bedrooms in the apartment were all a very good size as was the balcony. The apartment has a lovely pool area but is also only a very short walk from the beach. The inflatables in the sea at the local beach were very popular. There was no need for a car. It's only a 20 minute walk to Trogir or there is a regular boat service. Would definitely stay again.

Great Stay
We stopped as a family of 5 adults in Matea which is the top floor apartment.
The owners made us feel very welcome when we arrived. We found the whole villa to be very clean, finished to a very high standard and in a great location for views, restaurants and beach front. The villa is near the top of a steep hill with narrow roads, which is the same for most of the local area. Parking was available with an electric gate for added peace of mind.
On arrival it was very warm and sticky, we made full use of the air conditioning in the bedroom areas. The kitchen area is not air conditioned but has a large set of patio doors with balcony area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with freezer, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. All finished to a high standard. We opted to eat indoors or out weather dependant. There was a foton sofa and large tv in the kitchen diner too. Sometimes the kitchen layout was frustrating as all the appliances are in the same small area; and air conditioning would have been a bonus in this area. Even so these were very minor, beautifully finished with high quality materials.
The bedrooms were a nice size with thoughtful touches,and large comfortable beds. Two rooms had mosquito nets in the window, one did not. This may have helped as there were some nights they could have been useful.
The bathroom was beautifully finished with large double sink, toliet, seperate bath, amazing shower, very clean and high quality. It took a while for is to figure out the water system, as there was a bolier switch outside the bathroom door for colder days when the solar needed a top up. The shower was brilliant with a large 'rain' shower head.
The balcony was large with excellent views; there was a canopy which opened by hand which was useful. Take care when it is windy though to close it, and if it rains the floor tiling could become slippery. We all thought that the stainless steel rails were very high quality and finished this off beautifully.
The pool and sun terrace is communial but felt very private, sun beds were plentiful, and all the materials were high quality. This area really was a sun trap but benefitted from a breeze and nice cool pool. The pool was a nice size to cool off and for a little swim.
Overall a great stay with friendly owners; clean and well finished with all but very minor niggles. Ideal for a family or couples get away, if you want a villa that's great quality and value that's home from home this is your place! Hire a narrow car, remember your insect repellent, pack a beach towel and enjoy the spectacular views!

Ein schöner Urlaub war es gewesen
Im Frühjahr waren wir in Kroaten gewesen und schauten uns einige Sehenswürdigkeiten an. In den 2 Wochen Aufenthalt haben wir in der Villa Klaudia die Nächte verbracht. Diese ist sehr sauber und liegt in einer sehr guten Lage in der Nähe vom Meer. Der Fußweg dorthin ist selbst für mich sehr angenehm gewesen. Wir haben aus der Wohnung direkt auf das Meer sehen können und die Abende so richtig genießen können. Die Zimmer sind möbeliert und haben eine gute Qualität. Was mich besonders überrascht hat, war zudem, dass das Bad und die Küche sehr sauber waren und wir uns so wie Zuhause fühlen konnten. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und haben sich sehr gut darum gekümmert, dass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Hatten wir Fragen konnten wir diese Stellen und sie wurden kompetent beantwortet. Es ist ein sehr schöner Urlaub gewesen.

About the neighborhood
The house is located on the island of Ciovo (in Okrug Gornji), it is about 1.5 km away from Trogir. The island is connected to Trogir by a bridge. Since several years Ciovo has become a popular recreation area. Along the promenade stretches a long shingle beach (Okrug Beach), which is flat. This beach offers optimal bathing facilities for all ages. Okrug Gornji has shops, restaurants, bars and cafes, and there are good leisure facilities including water skiing, jet skiing, boat hire and diving schools. There are also tennis courts and mini golf courses in the resort, 5 km away from Trogir Medena.
Getting around
The old town of Trogir is a must see (also for the domestics). In Trogir you can see 2000 years of history. The main city sights are the historical city core, with about 10 churches, the city gate and city walls (15th century), the Fortress Kamerlengo, the the Cathedral and other historical buildings.
You can go to Trogir by feet, it's a 20 minutes walk or go by taxi boat. The boat lines run every 30 minutes, they start from the small port of Okrug Gornji (at the end of the beach) and cost about 20 Kuna p.P. (2,5 Euros).
Other sightseeings are the old town of Split, Salona, Sibenik, Krka. We can arrange you excursions or transfers by boat, taxi or car to the sights.

From the airport you can get to us by bus, but you have one stopover in Trogir and a little walk from the bus station to our house (500m). Alternatively we can arrange you a Driver who picks you up at the airport (costs 25 Euro extra). Please contact us for details.
