Unser Urlaub war wunderbar. Marija und Edo sind tolle Gastgeber, sehr kinderfreundlich und warmherzig. Marija hat uns täglich mit frischen Tomaten aus ihrem Garten versorgt und wir fühlten uns dort sehr ungestört, obwohl sie ja das untere Geschoss bewohnen. Den Pool hatten wir immer für uns alleine und alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Auch die Lage fanden wir gut. Man war schnell in Porec und auch nach Rovinj war es nicht weit. Die ca. 100m entfernt liegende Bundesstraße hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Marija und Edo haben das hinterste Grundstück in der Straße, sodass danach nur noch Wald kommt. Sehr ruhig.
Die Wohnung im 1. Stock hat einen eigenen Zugang und ist sehr großzügig.
Gut fanden wir, dass wir die Kinder ohne weiteres herumlaufen lassen konnten. Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt und der Pool ist vom Balkon aus super einsehbar.
Es war eine erlebnisreiche Woche und wir würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Super!
Mooi en ruim appartement, volledig ingericht. Eigenaars wonen beneden en Zijn zeer gastvrij en erg vriendelijk. Als welkom een fles wijn en fles water en groenten vers van eigen land.
Mooi zwembad. Kinderen hebben zich prima vermaakt met tafeltennis en darten

Peaceful, relaxing stay
This was a very peaceful, rural location but with easy access by car to the beautiful town of Porec and all the surrounding villages. Wonderful, caring and friendly owners who were easily contacted in their ground floor apartment for any questions or advice. We enjoyed welcome drinks and home cooked birthday food whilst practising our German, though Marija's son is available by phone if guests only speak English.
Enjoyed the outdoor pool area and cooking the fresh home grown fruit and vegetables from the garden. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the equipment expected for our family group of 4, including two teenagers aged 16 and 18.
From this location we visited Piran (Slovenia), Porec, Rovinj and the inland hilltop walled village of Motovun, all easily accessible by car. Would definitely recommend staying here but you do need a car.

The Magic of Istria
I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone looking for a rural retreat yet within easy travelling distance of all that Istria has to offer.
The welcome afforded to us by Marija and Edo was second to none. We have travelled far and wide and never received such wonderful hospitality. From the welcome lunch to the homegrown fruit and vegetables and home brewed wine and grappa! It was all very much appreciated. We had alot of fun trying to bridge the language barrier.
The apartment is immaculate, comfortable and has everything you need to cater for yourself. The garden is peacful and the pool a joy to swim whilst you are surrounded by vines and a very well tended orchard and vegetable plot. You do need a car to experience everything that Istria has to offer since the vila is situated in a very rural area and we were only able to walk to one restaurant. We loved visiting the ancient hilltop towns, full of history and atmosphere and a visit to Pula to walk in the footsteps of gladiators at the amphiteatre is a must. We found travelling easy and nowhere is too far to go for a day-trip. It was always such a delight to return to our lovely oasis after a day of exploring. Pazin for shops, supermarkets and banks is only a short distance away.
A huge thanks to Zeeshan too for showing us his family home and village and sharing his hospitality - even if we did receive a telling off from Edo for being late back! Marija asked us to write in the visitors book and asked for any complainants - we had absolutely none!
Our holiday to Istria will always remain amongst our favourites largely due to the week we spent at Marija and Edo's villa.
