Mato and his family made us feel so welcome. We appreciated small personal touches like wine, fruit and homemade cake left for us and getting picked up to and from the airport. Just a 10 minute walk down to the old town. Lovely flat and lovely family. We will definitely be back.

An excellent apartment with a nice view , modern throughout with all the stuff you need for a break, with tea coffee etc .the owners couldn’t be better with a bottle of wine and lovely cake with fruit too, the walk into town is ok going down however some could struggle coming back up . I would recommend this apartment and the hosts to anyone an great stay.

Such a late review, apologies ! The apartment was very clean and the hosts and extended family made it feel like home from home. The area is very quiet and a lovely walk into Cavtat centre. They couldn't do enough for you to make your holiday more enjoyable.

Fabulous stay at this wonderful apartment. Our hosts Mato and Tatiana couldn't do enough for us from providing beach towels to recommending restaurants. Mato picked us up at airport and gave us a tour of Cavtat and took us back to airport on his only day off. Fresh fruit from the garden and cake provided by Tatiana. Views from balcony were stunning, all the way to Dubrovnik. Beautiful sunsets over the head land. Apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Highly recommend the apartment. And we were made to feel extremely welcome. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Apartment is excellent, well finished. It’s clean with everything you can need for a great stay. Tatiana and her family are wonderful,nothing is any trouble and they go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic holiday. Apartment has beautiful views, of cavtat town, Dubrovnik, surrounding mountains and of course the Adriatic. 10 minutes to the harbour, restaurants,cocktail bars and shops. Local bus to Dubrovnik stops at bottom of road, where closes supermarket is also situated. What sets this apartment above others is the welcome of the family they are so lovely and just want to ensure you have the best holiday. The other reviews are so true. Tanja and Mato were wonderful hosts to us for 12 days in Cavtat. This is a perfect place and town to enjoy the Dalmatian Coast and be close to Dubrovnik. You can see Dubrovnik from the balcony! Great views of the sea!! Our hosts were welcoming and very friendly throughout our stay. On arrival there was wine and flowers and freshly baked cake. We had tea together with the family and there were frequent deliveries of roses, as the bush was in full bloom and needed to be picked! The cherry tree was producing so there were several deliveries of fresh cherries as well. When Tanja bakes, there is cake!!! It was wonderful!! The flat was cozy but well appointed with fresh linens everyday if you wish. We tried to keep it to every 3 days but it was a battle we rarely won. We prepared simple meals on the 2burner hob and there was a small frig and a coffeemaker and water boiler for coffee/tea in the morning. A terrific restaurant is 8 minutes away, before you go down the hill. The village is down the hill with shops and restaurants along the waterfront. The walk along the waterfront or around the peninsulas has great views. After 12 days it was hard to say goodbye to Tanja and Mato - they made us feel like family and we hope one day, maybe, to visit again, or see them if they visit the US.

While the apartment was updated and met all of our needs(including a balcony view), Mato & Tanja made our stay! After a long flight from the US, Mato welcoming us at the Dubrovnik Airport for a short ride to Cavtat, was the frosting on our cake! In addition to the airport service, he gave us a short tour of Cavtat- including good restaurants! Tanja helped us with our Croatian phone issues. A complimentary bottle of wine and fruit, allowed us to relax and look over brochures about the area that were stocked in the apartment. Mato's father, Tomas, gave us a ride back to the airport the day we left. We would love to see this wonderful family again!

Don’t even think about trying to find any other accommodation in Cavtat! This apartment is new, modern and contains all the appliances, cooking supplies and laundry supplies you will need. All at a very reasonable cost. Tanya and Mato’s father Ante picked us up at the airport and showed us around Cavtat on the way to the apartment - where a bottle of wine and a basket of fresh fruit awaited us. Both generations of Karoglans live in the apartment complex and so someone is always available to answer questions and offer suggestions in a most friendly and helpful manner. On the second day of our stay we received more fresh fruit from their garden. To cap things off Mato drove us back to the airpot at 5:00 am on our departure day! All transportation was complementary. We can honestly say that in all of our years of travel we have never received such hospitality from such warm and friendly hosts. We were indeed fortunate to find Apartments Tanja through Airbnb. Thank you so very much Mato, Tanja, Ante and Marija.

Excellent holiday. Apartment lovely, very clean and endless supply of clean towels etc provided. Owners also left tea coffee milk juice wine and fruit which was a very welcome touch. Would definitely stay again.
