The Timbered Treasure reflects upon the old days of farming. All the beams and posts are from barns. The bedroom door is a sliding barn door. The kitchen cabinets and the counter top are also made from reclaimed barn boards.
It is fully furnished. The living room has a gas fireplace and a TV for DVD viewing only(no cable). There is a nice selection of dvds in the cabin.
You just need to bring your clothes and food.

We stayed at Carl’s timbered treasure as we visited central Wisconsin for an autumn getaway. Carl is a very kind and welcoming host. He met us at the cabin for check in, and to show us around. We felt relaxed and cozy as the weather turned from warm to frosty. The cabin is beautifully built and decorated with barn boards, timbers, and farm country decor. The custom woodwork and furniture are quite remarkable. Don’t hesitate to book a stay at this cozy retreat. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as we did.

Very peaceful place that is dog friendly
The cabin is beautiful and full of really neat carpentry detail work. It is secluded in wooded ara but close enough to Town to easily get things you need. There is a very good Mexican resturant in Friendship and there is a great espresso coffee place with wonderful scones in next town. Our dog had a great time running in woods and we enjoyed the outdoor picnic table and secluded yard. While we did not need to use it much, being able to turn on air conditioning for a short time was nice and cooled the cabin down quickly. It then stayed cool. Bring you own hand soap and dish soap as well as any cooking spices you need. There are plenty of pots and pans, but no oils, spices, etc. Carl stopped by to say hello and he is great. We highly recommend his cabin

Great Escape
My husband, dog, and I had a fantastic time at Carl's cabin. He was very accommodating in that we asked him about renting the cabin on a Thursday night and we stayed there the following day and he had everything ready for our arrival. The workmanship of the cabin is exquisite and there are multiple hidden details that are fun to discover. We really could not have asked for a better weekend away on such short notice.

You can't beat this retreat!
I have had the pleasure of staying in this cabin a few times, and it is everything you want in a weekend retreat or for a full week! The interior is filled with beautiful workmanship that has every detail perfect, from the barn board refrigerator to the lantern chandelier! It's obvious when you walk in that this place, it was crafted with love and integrity!

perfect quiet get away
This cabin is beautiful and unique. The owner Carl was excellent to work with and made us feel right at home! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and get away from it all.

Beautiful cabin!
This is the cutest little cabin ever! We went over Christmas and it was decorated beautifully! Everything about this place was so perfect that we never left during our stay!

Carls quiet cabin
Nice place well furnished...needs a different bed in the master bedroom...Carl is a great guy ...place is very clean and well stocked will be returning for additional visits in the future...watch the speeding on the roads in Friendship/Adams.

Overall a very cute place
We stayed at Carl's cabins in adams over labor day weekend. Carl is a very nice guy. Always called back,and emailed me right away. The cabin was too cute. Very clean. Ill be sure to come back.

Great place to relax
I wanted a secluded cabin for a relaxing weekend and this was exactly it. The pictures online don't do the cabin any justice. Everything inside is reclaimed and decorated very "cabiney". It was very cool to read through all the information about Carl and how the cabin came to be. If your considering The Timbered Treasure or any of Carl's cabins, I would highly recommend booking a trip.

Beautiful Wisconsin Forest
Our family had a great time at Carl's Cabin. We didn't want to leave... Especially sad we were to say good bye to the beautiful forest all around the cabin and the nature in general. I am in love with amazing Wisconsin river! The view is magnificent. We would definitely come back again.

This cabin is very secluded. You can take a nice walk down the long driveway and check out the wildlife.
Only 24 miles north of Wisc Dells, home of the world's largest water parks!
Zip Lines, ride the DUCKS, or enjoy miniature golf!
Lots to do and see in Wisc Dells!!!!
Swimming beach on Friendship Lake, 3 miles from cabin.
This lake is great for canoes and kayaking, also fishing.
Children's play park across the street.
Close to Castle Rock Lake and Pettenwell Lake, 4th and 2nd largest lakes in Wisconsin. Great fishing for walley, northern, crappie, pan fish, even musky.
