Pete was a great host and the house was exactly as described and pictured. Great location and value for Austin! The 3-day stay was enough to enjoy the city and a primer for coming again. We'd definitely book with Pete again.

Just stayed here last week and have nothing but great things to say about it! Perfect for 2 people-It was exactly as pictured, private, comfortable, clean and close enough to anything you may need. Pete was great, accommodating, replied as soon as possible, and provided lots of places to check out during the stay. It was a very nice and quiet neighborhood, about a 10 minute ride to 6th street, Rainey St, and south congress. Highly recommend staying here! :)

Clean, comfy rental in a great location!
The property was as advertised, cozy, clean and comfortable. Hyde Park is a quite, beautiful neighborhood with lots of mature trees. Close to the University of Texas and local shopping as well as some quaint eateries just a few blocks down the street. Pete was a great host!

Pete was really helpful. The place is amazing located in a quiet neighbourhood not too far from the local attractions. Had an amazing stay. Was my first time taking a vacation rental and it was worth it. Thank you so much! :)

Perfect Place for a Girls Weekend for time to Enjoy & Relax!
We loved our stay, everything was perfect. It was very roomy and had everything we needed. Very nice location and was easy to get to and get around Austin. IT was very comfortable and welcoming. I very much liked that the a/c was already turned on for us. I hate arriving to hotels and the rooms be hot and stuffy smelling. It was very nice. We will stay again on another one of our Girls Weekends in Austin. Thanks Pete for everything.

Awesome location, cute place, perfect for a couple!
My husband and I stayed here for three nights while we did some apartment hunting. We had looked at hotels, and I stumbled upon this place on FlipKey. I am SO glad I did! The location is in the beautiful Hyde Park, walking distance to a string of neighborhood coffee shops, bakeries, groceries, and restaurants. My husband went running in the area everyday, and there were people milling about, walking dogs, etc. Since the location of the studio was off the main road, all was nice and quiet.
The studio itself was well decorated, has all kitchen amenities, wi-fi, and tv. The owner has gone through lengths to ensure that the guests feel right at home, with all necessary utensils and dishes, coffee maker, wine opener, ironing board hair dryer ,etc. Though we found it to be no problem, the toilet and shower were on raised platforms, so it would not be convenient for those with mobility issues.
The owner was prompt in all communications via e-mail and text, and all the details were handled seamlessly.
I would highly recommend this location for a visit to Austin.

Great place! Great location!
The owner, Pete, was very friendly and helpful! Our home was very clean and fresh. It was in a great location! Several food options and a bus stop within walking distince. The home and neighborhood felt private and safe. We would stay here again for sure! We rented unit c and unit d and they are directly next door to each other. It worked out perfect for our group!

This unit was clean, convenient and comfortable. Easy check in with an accommodating owner made my stay very nice. I am a well traveled executive and would recommend this unit without reservation. I was there for 5 days during Sxsw Interactive.

Comfortable, clean and convenient accommodations.
My husband and I stayed here last year while in town for a friend's wedding. The space was comfortable and extremely clean. If you're looking for a taste of real austin living, this place is it! It was incredibly close to multiple amenities and in an adorable, quaint neighborhood. We'd definitely stay here again and look forward to it on our next visit to austin!

Hyde Park is one of the most coveted neighborhoods in Austin. You'll be right in the middle of central Austin next to all of the exciting attractions, but also be in one of the quietest locations. The large trees and many historic homes make this a great place to walk, jog, or bike around at any time of the day. Walk a few blocks and you can be having breakfast at Quack's, one of the best locations in Austin for coffee and cupcakes, or eating at any of the several restaurants nearby (ASTI, Mother's Case, Julio's, Hyde Park Bar and Grill), take a walk to the local park and enjoy tennis, basketball, swimming, or playground for the kids, or even to a local museum. Don't want to walk or bike? The bus route is one block away and will take you almost anywhere in the city for $1!
