Minimal walking from subway (Sakaisuji Line - Ebisucho Station), you can easily access to any parts of Osaka by trains. Get yourself an Osaka 1-day / 2-day pass and you're all set to go!
Shinsekai is right across the street. Enjoy the magnificent view of Tsutenkaku Tower which was constructed in 1912 after Paris' Eiffel Tower. It's currently 103m high, with observatory at height of 91m. Indulge yourself with traditional Osaka specialty Kushikatsu (a dish composed of various skewered, battered and deep fried foods). You may also use Exit 3 for lift access if you have excessive baggage, then cross the road to Exit 5.
