Fujinoma Machiya House
We had a lovely stay at Fujinoma Machiya house; the 3 rooms accommodated all 7 of us comfortably. The house has modern amenities plus heated floors that made our sleeping futons super comfortable on the floor. The house was a little hard to get to but once you pinned on Google map and showed to taxi driver it was a breeze. The area is close to the Kyoto train station and Imperial Palace but you need public transportation to venture out to other known vacation spots.

Wonderful stay at the Machiya Inn!!
Our family of 4 had a beautiful stay here. It’s located on a side alley just off the main street with a large grocery store nearby. It’s only a short walk from the subway station.
Most of all, we like the exquisite interior layout & decoration. Everything is functional & clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, so are the 2 bathrooms. Each room has its own A/C, and the downstairs floors are heated. There are 3 bathrooms, and there are washer/dryer. One bedroom has beds the other tatamis. There’s another room that could serve either as a sitting room or extra bedroom. There’s a small zen patio downstairs. Housekeeping service is provided daily.

普段仲良くしている仲間5人で利用させていただきました。
お部屋はとても清潔ですし、洗濯機もあり家電等の設備もかなり充実しています。
まるで家にいるかのようにくつろげます。
本当に最高の宿です！！
