I haven’t even finished my holiday just yet but felt compelled to write this review! I’ve had a wonderful time so far at Manzarali - the apartment is beautiful and what can I say about that view! Simply stunning - from the living room, bedroom and balcony! Wow!
Also want to say a huge thank you Mavis for your help in organising our transfers, boat trips and for all the restaurant recommendations.
If you’re coming to Kalkan (which you must) you have to stay at Manzarali! We’ll be back next year (and the year after most likely!), that’s for sure!

Fabulous apartment in a great location
We stayed at Manzarali for 8 nights at the end of October. What a lovely apartment with the most amazing view of Kalkan bay and the marina! The apartment is extremely well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It is also beautifully clean and well maintained. It is a 10-15 minute stroll into the centre of Kalkan, a lovely walk with more wonderful views. Mavis, our host was so helpful and informative and could not have done more to ensure that we had a great holiday. There are also some lovely extra touches: welcome pack, provision of toiletries and slippers on arrival which were really appreciated. Also enjoyed the covered garden area with lighting where we enjoyed drinks in the shade. We will most certainly return!

Room with a view
Had a wonderful week in this lovely apartment . Comfortable,spacious and very well equipped for the four of us.
The view from the large terrace is spectacular.

Stunning apartment and views of Kalkan
Stayed at Manzarali apartment in Kalkan and had an amazing time. The apartment is like a home from home, with everything you need, but with the added bonus of wonderful views from the terrace. Loads of outside space and the covered area around the corner of the terrace is perfect for a cooler early evening drink. Pool is great and not very busy so you can always get a sun bed. Short walk (down hill there, up hill back) to Denizim beach club which is fantastic and only a 10 minute stroll to the town to try one of the amazing restaurants and wander round the beautiful streets of Kalkan. Mavis and her team were always available and have provided the best service we as a family have experienced when booking accommodation privately rather than a package. Could not recommend Manzarali ( and Mavis )highly enough. We look forward to returning one day.

A Lovely Apartment - Home from Home
A beautifully maintained apartment in a lovely location. The view is wonderful and the apartment has everything that you could want and more. Mavis is so helpful and wonderful to deal with - she is responsive and really cares about her guests. We have stayed in the apartment twice and will be back!

MANZARALI, KALKAN - EXCELLENT
Beautiful apartment in a stunning resort/location with incredible panoramic views. The apartment is spacious, immaculately clean, snd fully equipped with all the home comforts you could want. The apartment offers so much flexibility for your vacation. You can dine out, cook and stay home, have a BBQ on the large wrap-around balcony or even have a Netflix night complete with takesway delivered to your door. A wealth of information is provided so that you can truly make the most of your stay. My vacation has been wonderful and 'as Arnie says, I'll be back!'.

Wonderful apartment, stunning views!!
Manzarali is perfectly located with the most amazing views of the bay of Kalkan - we had stunning sunsets every night!! It's a lovely 10 minute coastal walk down to the harbour and the town (taxi home as is £2.50 and recommended as its uphill). The apartment is the perfect distance from town, quick to get to but far enough away not to be disturbed - the town looks beautiful when lit up at night.
The apartment is beautiful and has absolutely everything you could possibly need, including a very welcome water cooler. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were provided with an unexpected but very lovely welcome pack of bread, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of fizz.
The pool area is really nice and very well maintained. It was lovely and peaceful - we had it to ourselves on some days.
There are beautiful sea views from the living room and master bedroom. The balcony is lovely and big and the shaded seating area is particularly lovely and our favourite place to unwind after a day in the sunshine.
The apartment is perfectly located for the beach clubs too (5 minutes walk) - our favourite was Palm Beach. We were lucky enough to be swimming here when a huge turtle joined us.
We had a couple of boat trips with Deniz (Moby Dick 2). Deniz and his crew were really lovely and engaging; they couldn't do enough for us and were all really knowledgable on the area and the sea life. The onboard lunch was gorgeous and very authentic - we highly recommend them.
Kalkan town is beautiful with lots of hidden gems everywhere (it's quite hilly with cobbled streets so flat shoes are a good idea). There are so many lovely roof-top restaurants to choose from - too many to name, and all of the ones we ate at were fabulous.
Mavis is a great property host and provided us with lots of advice and information from the day that we booked our stay and throughout our time in her lovely apartment. She also arranged our transfers which ran like clockwork.
We will definitely be re-booking another stay at Manzarali as we had such a fabulous holiday.

Amazing apartment with the most superb view!
Four of us have not long returned from a wonderful two week stay at Manzarali.
We are regular visitors to Kalkan, but have previously stayed in the Old Town but fancied a change and chose Komurluk.
The location is the perfect combination - nice and peaceful but just a short trip into the hustle and bustle of town (less than 5 minutes in taxi at just £2 at the time of writing) and walkable which many people seemed to do in the evenings.
Just a short 5 minute walk away are also the beach clubs Palm Beach and Zest, with Palm being our favourite with its more private feel, small secluded beach and good for turtle spotting, this was perfect for us. A small supermarket is also a short walk away, so a trip into town isn't needed.
The apartment itself has the most stunning views across kalkan and the islands, perfectly clean and comfortable throughout with all amenities you should require. Having access to a shared swimming pool was also a joy, and found it to be very quiet it was almost like a private pool!
In addition to the large balcony, there is also a cosy outdoor garden room, which was welcome during the short heatwave we had to cool off and also has the added bonus of being sea view facing through the foliage.
The owner, Mavis, couldn't do enough for us from the time of booking over 12 months ago right up to the end of our holiday, she frequently kept us up to date and reassurances which were most welcome in the uncertain and unpredictable times of Covid. The manager during our stay was always contactable by phone/WhatsApp and attended to any queries.
Fantastic holiday at Manzarali and highly recommend, hope to return at some point in the future.

Amazing views
Our first visit to Kalkan and what a amazing view from this apartment across the bay.
A lovely apartment with everthing you could ask for. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the resort centre where you can find plenty of good restaurants and shops. There is plenty to do and see in the area. The town beach is also close by with lovely clear water.
Mavis the owner of the apartment was very helpful and informative and was always available to help.
It has a nice pool area and the other apartment owners were very friendly and welcoming.
We will hopefully return to Kalkan one day and this apartment all though probably not in August as it was a bit to warm for me.

Excellent apartment, amazing view
Manzarali is by far the best vacation apartment I have rented so far. There is an incredible sea view the apartment offers which can be enjoyed from the amazing balcony and from the living room plus one of the sleeping rooms. This villa is better than how it looks in the pictures. Everything is well thought of within the apartment for the guests. The kitchen was well equipped; we actually cooked at home some days. The location of the apartment is on top of a hill but it is manageable ( you might have to consider if you have knee problems or so but other than that you are ok). It is a 5-10 min walk to the sea level through some stairs which leads you to a few beach clubs. The center of Kalkan is also not far. One can walk for 20 min or call a taxi which takes you to the center in 2 min. It is very easy to call a taxi. Mavis (owner of the apartment) has prepared a folder with all the numbers one might need for the holiday (taxis, things to do, boat trips, food delivery, house manager etc). It is also possible to take a small boat to Kalkan center from sea level. There is a nearby beach club called Palm Beach and they help you to cross to the center with a boat. This beach club is also a perfect place to enjoy the sea, to eat and to drink. The employees are very helpful. The center of Kalkan offers many nice restaurants, grocery markets, pharmacies and other shops. There are many other small trips that one can take around Kalkan, but since my sister and I were careful about the covid-19 situation in general and we were working from home during weekdays, we did not go elsewhere. I loved this amazing summer location and the apartment and I am definitely coming back!

Getting around
Car not needed, town, harbour and beaches all within easy reach. If you have eaten in town or have heavy shopping and require a taxi back , they are very cheap around 10TL ( £2 )

Boat trips are usually the highlight of everybody's holiday - The restaurant quality food on the boats is excellent . The boats take you to lots of bays around Kalkan and include swimming stops and even mud baths !

How to get there
Easy Jet operates scheduled flights from Gatwick, Stanstead, Bristol and Manchester on most days during the summer ( book early for better fares ). Also British Airways, Easy Jet, Jet2, - Try, Skyscanner search for best prices
The transfer time from Dalaman to Kalkan is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
Recommended for reliable, comfortable airport transfers with a safe driver or car hire is car hire contact: Emin of Kalkan Sun Travel - we can book the airport transfer for you if you prefer.
You will need to book your visa on line before travel.

On arrival in Turkey go to the passport control. After collecting your luggage leave the buildind and go down the ramp to the left where you will see all the transfer staff holding up peoples names.
