Villa Lumia Bali is located just 10 minutes from Ubud, nestled between a river and stunning rice fields spreading across the horizon. The Villa Lumia is set on a 2,300 square meter parcel of beautiful land providing the perfect place to relax for your holidays.
The Villa Lumia’s 4 bedrooms (each with open sky bathrooms) are located around a century old traditional Joglo and can welcome up to 12 guests. A mezzanine can accommodate 2 guests which is generally a favorite for children.
The Villa offers an excellent mix of amenities with its 20 meters swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center, billiard, TV Room, Etc.

When on spot our staff (present on spot 24/7) will take excellent care of you, cooking beautiful breakfasts (lunch and diner as well if needed), providing tips on the cool things to do around etc.
We stayed at Villa Lumia for 5 days with my parents (in their 70's), husband, teen daughter (13) and youngest (7)... and I can honestly say it suited every single one of us! Ketut and his very talented wife delivered the most wonderful, chilled out experience with the most incredible meals. Breakfasts were delicious and the meals we had at the villa were very relaxed and so very local and tasty. The Villa itself is very relaxing and the grounds are perfect when you are looking for little escape areas. The gym, pool table and massage area were all well looked after and used by all of us. The beds in the rooms closest to the main house/ living areas were very comfortable. My only constructive feedback would be that I would say the master bed at the far end of the villa needs upgrading as currently there is no hard bed base and the mattress isn't supported and it's not great for 2 people sharing- if you were single, it would be fine! We loved having access to Ketut and the car to take us to various locations, restaurants etc. Nothing was too much trouble. You need to be comfortable helping yourself to the fridge, your drinks/ snacks etc, I'm absolutely sure Ketut would serve up some great drinks but tbh, it was just so much more relaxed when we could help ourselves. This trip to Bali was made all the more special because of the lovely service and villa.

Simply perfect
Lovely welcome from Ketut and Komang the house keepers and great cooks , lovely rooms with pool And rice paddy views, loved the outdoor bathtub, large pool, the detail of copper batik stamps wall in the billiard room and the original joglo living room Definitely one of the best villas I have tried in bali . Oh and there even is a sports room for those who need .

Amazing place to stay in Ubud
This house is just amazing: nice people / nice food / amazing rooms - the right place to rest and see the best of ubud ! I highly recommend it :)

Like a dream
Spent a week there for my first trip to Bali. What a blast! This little paradise is just amazing surrounded by the beautiful wild nature. Enjoying the jacuzzi facing the jungle was part of my daily routine morning and evening. Ketut and Komang (the staff) were amazing with us, always her to make our stay just perfect and always happy to give us good recommandations around. Komang even give me a local cook initiation class and that was really fun.
The villa is gorgeous, WiFi all around, even a pool table!
We won’t forget our stay there and we hope to have the chance to be back there again.

The best place to stay in Bali
It is the best place to stay in Bali. They have everything, but what make it so special are of course people. You can not imagine better service then at Villa Lumia. And food....you will never forget that taste and hospitality.

Lod tunduh is a small village located 5 kilometers from Ubud center which makes it easy for our guests to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Villa Lumia but also the activities located in Ubud and its surrounding.
Ubud is a remarkable town in the middle of the island of Bali. For more than a century, it has been the island's preeminent center for fine arts, dance and music. It remains a calm cocoon where you'll be able to relax far away from the fuss of southern Bali (Kuta, Seminyak, Etc.)
It is definitely the best place to use as a base if you're visiting Bali and looking for a quiet place, culture, comfort, nature and inspiration. Ubud is surrounded by most of the things that bring people to Bali with scenic rice fields, small villages, art and craft communities, ancient temples, palaces, rivers... It's central location makes it easy to get from Ubud to the mountains, beaches, major towns or the many activities around.
While you can find plenty of interesting things on the main streets, the magic of Ubud remains hidden away... We'll make sure helping you understand what makes Ubud so special...
