A stay at Angel House can be anything you want it to be – a cosy couple’s escape, a week of sun, fun and shopping with friends, or a group booking with all 3 suites for a family or special event. Private, luxurious and safe setting in a walled tropical garden with pool, yoga space and bale/gazebo as well as a guest kitchen.
Angel House has 3 guest suites, Sandat suite, Jepun suite or Lumbung suite.
The air-conditioned and fan cooled bedrooms features custom designed handcrafted furniture, fine Balinese linens and soft furnishings, digital security box, reading lights and tea and coffee making facilities plus unlimited filtered drinking water.

My home away from home
Fantastic! If your looking for a luxurious, secluded and private place of your own in Ubud, Angel Villa is perfect. Great value and comes with all the creature comforts of my own place in australia. Plus the Guest Manager speaks great English and knows all the local places you'll never read about on the internet. Its my home away from home.

Delightful Sanctuary in Ubud
We found angel Villa to be a delightful home and sanctuary from the busy Ubud tourist strip. A lovely balinese garden, swimming pool, great kitchen, comfortable beds, dvds, everything to make us comfortable in a designer home away from home. A supermarket across the road and short walk from the daily produce market. Helpful housekeeper attends in the morning and was able procure everything we needed and advise on daily needs.
Angel Villa was a great base from which to explore Ubud. Located in Mas, once a separate village that specialises in woodcarving, it is the equivalent of 2 suburbs from downtown, and has its own charm.
Getting to Central Ubud was easy - simply walk a few metres to the main road (the Villa is set back from road adding to security and privacy) and hail a lift, or contact the driver who services this property. Pay $ AU or barter for less.
2 story home has 3 double bedrooms and bathrooms, suitable for 3 couples or whatever combination.
When not exploring Ubud, I enjoyed "lapping" in the pool with the pool rope, working on my tan in the private garden and eating lots of delicious fruit:)
We especially recommend the Ubud Ecocycling tour - 25km downhill from volcano stopping at coffee plantation, traditional balinese village home and rice paddies and fantastic lunch provided - fascinating and fun. Bikes available for all ages. Picked us up from angel Villa.

Relaxing hideaway
Angel Villa was perfect for my family. We had spent a few days at the beach and wanted to experience more of Bali out of the husstle and busstle and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Just out of Ubud it offered peace and quiet with all the services and facilities to make it our dream experience. The villa was serviced each morning and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The kids loved the pool and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the covered pool deck - just perfect even when it rained. We hired scooters through the villa and explored this wonderful area with all its markets, wood carvings, glass blowers, interior designers and galleries. The restaurants nearby were wonderful and so friendly and with Ubud only a short ride away we were never short of a place to eat. The kitchen was really well equipped and a supermarket was only down the road. I wouldn't hesitate staying at angel Villa again and have told all my friends about it too.

2 days in Ubud
We stayed here with my wife for 2 nights. We didn't spend much time in the villa for we were travelling around the place. The villa itself is very nice and the housekeeping is OK. It is situated not far from Ubud center but you will definitely need a taxi to get there. It is quite hard to find the villa for the first time. There is a shop and a two local cafés near it but there is no English menu in one of them. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Sanctuary in Mas
We loved the feeling of seclusion and sanctuary we found at angel Villa. It was amazing to step out into the buzz of balinese life when it suited us, but be able to close the gate and feel at home back at the villa. We found some wonderful warungs nearby and friendly woodcarvers in every direction. Our 9 and 4 year old kids were hardly out of the pool and especially loved the breakfast of banana pancakes that Madu cooked for us every morning. Pete loved being near to the market where he bought delicious sweets and spices and fresh tofu and made his own version of Nasi Campur - great to have a kitchen after lots of eating out. We loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend angel Villa. Thanks annie and Rod - it was a real highlight of our trip to Bali!

Angle villa is the Bali capital of relaxation, fun and beauty. Made was was the most kind and welcoming person,she knew Bali so well and could tell us good places to eat hang out for the day and just really enjoy Bali! (Written by Maia aged 11 who also loved the pool!)
We all had a fabulous time, Maia plus Jacob 15 and Zoe 18, we loved the simple comfortable beauty at angel Villa. It was great to be a bit away from the bustle of Ubud, but only a short ride away (AU$5 in a taxi or $1 in a local bemo minibus). Great meals at the local BBQ/sate restaurant also. We had day trips cycling through the rice paddies with baliecocycles and also went white water rafting with Sobek

Great Stay!
My family and I (two children, ages 4 and 2) truly enjoyed our stay at angel Villa. Ms. Made made us feel truly welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate any needs or requests during our stay. Angel Villa was a great way to experience Ubud and its surrounds. Ms. Made's husband was extremely accommodating as well in terms of transporting my family and me during our stay. I would definitely recommend angel Villa to someone looking for a large, quiet place to stay that is slightly off the "tourist track", but close enough to be able to enjoy whatever Balinese experiences your heart desires.

Wished we could have stayed longer.
Stayed at Angel Villa for only 5 days but loved it. Peaceful and relaxing villa with many quiet corners; lovely garden; a bale and swimming pool. Short walk down lane from main road; noise was no problem; bemo ride or short car ride to Ubud. Comfy bed; spacious and clean rooms. Housekeeper Made was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Good food outlets, shops and galleries close by. They were booked out after us or we would have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

The lovely angel Villa... with a toddler
I stayed at angel Villa with my 19 month old daughter & 3 adult family members for 10 days. The house was perfect for us, equipped with everything we needed to feel completely at home. We hardly used the kitchen as there was plenty of great food close by. Made (housekeeper) made us feel very welcome & was great company especially as my daughter adored her & waited patiently each morning as she prepared our breakfast of fresh fruit & Bali pancakes. Her husb& Wayan is a master wood carver & driver, & we were also lucky to have him available for the week to drive us around for a reasonable fee. We were also lucky enough to see his carvings at his nearby gallery which is a must!
For people travelling with a toddler, here are my suggestions. Car seat was excellent as we had the same car for the week so just left it in. The cars do not have anchor bolts like we do in aus cars, but I managed to attach it to the part of the car where the extra back seat would attach (so we were one seat less in the 7 sear car). For the times when car seat was not practical, or if you don't take one I can recommend a seat belt guide which I purchased from www.safefit.com.au which was great for the short taxi ride into Ubud. It was excellent having it in the car, taking into Ubud & also getting through the airports. Portacot was great for blocking off the stairs or using as a playpen! Also, a baby monitor was handy. As for the swimming pool, we just locked the doors when we did not want to go outside for swimming so bubs couldn't get out, & I also had floatie bathers for her so she could play when we swam.
Overall, our experience of travelling to Bali was made so much more enjoyable by having angel Villa as our home. Annie & Rod were wonderful to deal with when booking. Made & Wayan made us feel very welcome & did everything to make our stay most enjoyable. We would definitely go back! Thank you!!

We loved our holiday in angel Villa. Our entire family of 5 enjoyed every minute of the stay. The Villa had every imaginable comfort, the local people were so kind and friendly, we felt welcomed everywhere we went. The location is great, just a short journey to Ubud, with many other attractions nearby. The pool is a treat, especially after returning from an outing. We just fell in love with the place.

Angel House Homestay is down a small lane (Gang in Indonesian) and if you are arriving by yourselves, the manager Pak Kadek can meet you at the top of the lane on Jalan Raya Mas and using the local Gallery and restaurants as a guide Gang Meduri is off the main road heading NORTH into Ubud, Jalan Raya Mas. Just 8km south of central Ubud. Heading North from Sukawati, Angel Villa is 2.5km from the Big Baby statue, and on the same side of the road as the hospital, Clinic Mas. Heading South from Ubud central and Pasar Mas (market) Angel House is on the left side with Gallery Tony Raka opposite Gang Meduri & Angel Villa. Within walking distance to 2 supermarkets, ATM, restaurants & bar, deli, art galleries, home-ware & designer wooden furniture and hand made glass, and local Balinese temples, rice fields as well as pharmacies/drug stores and a large hospital.<BR>Gang Meduri is a small lane accessible by foot and motor bike. It is not a road for cars.<BR>We are situated in the tourist village of Tarukan Mas within easy walking to rice fields, the river, temples, experience for yourself traditional Balinese daily life
