Apartment Luka was simply lovely. The space was clean, more than sufficient, and has fantastic views of Old Town Dubrovnik. My husband and I hope to make it back someday very soon and would absolutely stay at Luka again!

Beautifully furnished in a wonderful location
Very impressed with the apartment from the start. Spotlessly clean, very spacious and lots of added extra's provided free of charge (wine, biscuits, washing and shower products etc). Very accommodating on check-in and lots of information on local restaurants and attractions provided in the welcome pack. Would highly recommend

An excellent place to stay! Cannot rate it highly enough.
From arrival to departure the stay was a real pleasure. The care that Marko and Renata took was second to none in ensuring that we were well looked after and comfortable. They had put a lot of thought into the layout of the accommodation which was fairly spacious and well presented. A lovely quiet, private and relaxing place to stay!

Awesome as advertised
We just left this morning.
Marko and his wife were so helpful and welcome.
We arranged to drive in early and do a 12 noon GoT tour. We were able to park our car in the garage and check in later which was super convenient!
When we finally got in the Apartment around 6:00 it was as the pictures show; BEAUTIFUL.
They had some drinks and cookies ready for us. The inside is very clean and up to date. They have a good kitchen with a espresso style coffee maker, Microwave, oven, stove and dishwasher.
There are plenty of towels( including tree for the beach).
The bathroom is beautiful and there is s washer( which is a Godsend on a long trip) .
The AC worked well.
And..... The view!!!!!!!
We watched the fireworks from there and it was the best vantage point I’ve ever witnessed a fireworks display from in 50 years.
Then there is the climb, easy down ( providing you are in reasonably good shape) but a workout to get up.
But, there are TAXIs everywhere . We never used one but I’m sure it wouldn’t cost much to take a five minute ride back up if necessary.
I absolutely recommend this beautiful Apartment.

Immaculate apartment, wonderful view
We much enjoyed staying at this apartment. It was immaculately clean, well equipped (inc hairdryer and thoughtful toiletries). It is in a super position, overlooking the old City. Lots of stairs down to the Old City. Marko the host was extremely helpful, arranging the airport transfer, sorting out the TV for us technophobes! Would recommend.

Amazing view of walled city
200 kuna taxi ride from airport takes you above the walled city into a quiet residential street. Marko was there to greet us and our jaws dropped when we entered the apartment. It has recently been renovated to an exceptionally high standard - fancy lighting options, beautiful kitchen, wet room and bedroom. There’s a large balcony from the lounge/kitchen which looks straight down onto the old town and harbour. South facing. The bedroom to the side also has a small balcony (too small for sitting on). Marko’s family lives below but this is shielded by well tended vine canopy. Small supermarket within 5 minutes’ walk.
There’s all the equipment you’d need - including sharp knives! Marko’s fiancée is a registered guide, who has first hand knowledge of the ‘homeland war’ of 1991-5, very informed and clear. They both speak perfect English. Very friendly and helpful.
We visited the walled fortifications early in the day to avoid crowds, took the boat to nearby Lokrum which was pretty, shady, with rocky bathing opportunities (take beach shoes), but the boat was pricey. 150 kuna return for a 15 minute journey. Better value was the 100 kuna trip to beautiful Cavtat, about 45 minutes away.
We would certainly return, especially as it’s so easy to get there from our local airport, Birmingham, very good value for high end accommodation. It’s a pity we were only in Dubrovnik for 3 nights around an island hopping/cycling trip. Thank you Marko.

Absolutely STUNNING apartment and view !!!!!
The apt. has been newly redone and is light and airy and very comfortable.
The view from the front balcony (one of 2) is just outstanding over the old town and of the sunset. It is totally private and a great spot for morning coffee, evening wine or just relaxing and looking at the amazing town and sea view.
Yes, there are a lot of stairs into old town, BUT SO WORTH IT !!
On arrival there were cold beverages including a bottle of wine, fresh fruit, cookies and candies. Those details just made the experience even more special.
We did 3 day trips through tour companies from there and the buses stop very close for pickup which was great and there is a grocery store not far away, so very convenient as well.
Would go back for sure and highly recommend as long as mobility isn't an issue.

Fabulous
Wow, the view is spectacular. This is a great location to visit Old Town Dubrovnik (although there are a lot of steps involved) The apartment was very clean, well stocked and quiet. We had some problems with the hot water heater, but Marko and his family were very prompt at responding and correcting the problem for us.
We'll definitely visit again.

Dear Colleen,
thank you for leaving us a review and for staying at our apartment. Once again, I apologize for the water heater and thank you for your understanding.
If you come back to Dubrovnik, feel welcome!
Best regards,

The easiest way to get to our apartment from the airport is taking the local taxi or coming by shuttle bus. A shuttle bus from the airport costs 35 kuna and the tickets are brought in the bus. After leaving the Dubrovnik airport its first stop is Pile gate in front of the Old town from where you can walk but in a case with a lot of luggage we recommend taking a taxi from there. Other solution is taking bus no.8 and getting out on the stop near the Cable car. Feel free to contact us in case you need more information.
