We could not have hoped for a better spot to have our quiet little Thanksgiving. The hostess is most gracious and an excellent baker to boot. The building is roomy with a complete kitchen and tons of amenities. We also had a coterie of cat companions to keep us company. Bed and blankets lush and comfy. Pictures don't do it justice.

Loved It!!! This was the perfect location for us to take daily trips to surrounding areas. It is located about 20 minutes SW of Lafayette, steps from downtown and close to area restaurants and attractions. The couple we were traveling with booked this Cottage & Apt. A because they have stayed at Apt. A several times in the past. My husband and I stayed in the St. Charles Cottage, it was perfect in every way. Debbie is the most delightful hostess/owner we have had the pleasure of meeting. This is coming from someone who doesn't like B&B's because of ill mannered owners. Debbie is quite charming. She thought of everything you could possibly need when you are away from home. We were there in Feb., the last week of Mardi Gras. Tucked in the corner of the dining room was a Mardi Gras themed Christmas tree with little lights that made the house warm & welcoming. Just one of the many touches Debbie adds to make your stay special. The house is newly remodeled, beautifully decorated in antiques, well stocked large kitchen, comfortable bedding, nice size bathroom, bathrobe and personal care items, large dining room, separate living room and a spare room that serves as the dressing room. House is perfect for 2 people. Every morning began with Debbie's delivery of the daily newspaper and fresh doughnuts. I understand why my friends stay here every time they pass through Louisianan. Don't hesitate to stay here, you will be missing out on the best place to stay in Abbeville.

What a wonderful experience!! Debbie is such a gracious hostess. She overlooked nothing to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. The decor in Apt. A is most unique and attractive. It's worth the stay just to see it! This is the perfect cottage in quaint Abbeville where you can enjoy Cajun history, lovely homes and great seafood at several excellent restaurants. The hubby and I spent a few days at Apt. A this week and are so happy we decided to make it our base while exploring the surrounding area. The cottage is delightful inside and out- it's beautifully decorated and comfy cozy. It's very close to great restaurants which is another plus. The fabulous host Debbie has thought of everything- this is one of the best stocked vacations rentals I've ever seen. She really goes the extra mile to make sure her guests have a fabulous stay and even dropped a paper and fresh pastries each morning. We very much enjoyed her company (and the company of the outdoor kitties) and hope to have the privilege of another stay one day!

Abbeville is perhaps the loveliest of all the small Cajun towns and Apartment A is a perfect match. A beautiful cottage, both inside and out, meticulously maintained, well equipped and well stocked. Plus it's within walking distance of Abbeville's small downtown with its beguiling city park. Debbie is a great host and Apartment A is a real bargain.

My girlfriend and I had a great time staying at Apt. A. Debbie was a great host and made us feel right at home. She had fresh pastries for us every morning and even offered to reserve a place at one of the local restaurants. The patio was relaxing as we sat and had cocktails and watched all of the cats. If you like quiet little towns and want to get away, this is the place.

We were looking for a place for a quiet getaway -- and were so lucky to discover Apartment A. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was as described. We will return next year!

We stayed at Apartment A for three nights and were pleased with every aspect of our visit. The location was perfect for exploring the City of Abbeville. Debbie made sure we had everything that we needed. We hope to stay at Apartment A when we visit the area in the future.

Debbie, the owner of Apt. A, has managed to make her beautifully appointed 850 sq. ft. cottage feel so much bigger. It has absolutely everything you will need for a short or long term stay. Each day Debbie provided an assortment of breakfast pastries, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereal, orange juice, good coffee, and yummy chocolates. The cottage is immaculately maintained, has an excellent shower, and a kitchen stocked with everything you would need if you wanted to cook a complete dinner, but Abbeville has a nice selection of good restaurants. There's a lovely patio right outside your door with baskets of hanging flowers and potted plants. The town of Abbeville is walkable with interesting history and architecture. Debbie could not possibly have been more accommodating or made our four-day stay more pleasant or memorable.

Oh my goodness - this is the best place we have ever stayed in. Hostess Debbie is a delight, gracious, kind, helpful, eager to please, and please she does. She has gone out of her way to be sure her guests have everything possible they might need or want, from cotton tips to bathrobes, to DVDs and magazines, to quality linens, and a variety of breakfast items to order. She has decorated the apartment with eclectic style and it is charming. The kitchen is as well outfitted as my home kitchen, and the apartment is spotless. We sat out on the patio and drank wine and Debbie and her furry friends (her rescue dogs) came and joined us. Lovely lady. We are going back to Vermillion Parish in October and actually had reservations elsewhere but cancelled those and reserved Apt A for three nights. Just a lovely, lovely place.
