I loved this apartment and 3rd floor mini garden balcony The owner..Nena..was extremely helpful. It is located less than 50 meters from a cross road that is a pedrestrianized cobbled stoned road full of restaurants and bars. Some quite famous. Many with classical..serbian live music. At the far end of that road there is a market and small supermarket. It is easy walking tho republik square that is the heart of belgrade. It was not an issue for me but there are 6 small flights of stairs to the apartment..no lift. And if you want to be close to the restaurant/bars the price to pay is the noise and music till fairly late.. The double glazing of the apartment is really effective and with the air conditioning can be used to deal with that.. I will use this place again when I come back to belgrade..thank you Nena

I accompanied my husband who was in Belgrade for a few weeks on business. I knew I would be spending a lot of time at the apartment during the day so I wanted somewhere cool, clean and comfortable whilst being good value for money. Apartment Centar Belgrade, Skadarlija 4* fit the bill perfectly. It was immaculately clean, it had one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in and to be able to sit out on the large terrace was a joy. It is also in a very nice section of the city. Near to the main square, near a fabulous open air market and just around the corner from the bohemian quarter with a street full of restaurants. The owner was welcoming and helpful as well. Two downsides however, the building has no lift so you need to be fit for the stairs and the noise from the restaurants around the corner filters through into the apartment especially when we stayed in summer and preferred to keep the windows open rather than have the aircon blasting. Despite that we thoroughly enjoyed staying in this apartment.
