The neighborhood is a very safe place, in the Historic Center, in the area there are several restaurants, supermarkets, food market, pharmacies, all basic necessities. For those visiting for pleasure, this location is ideal as the apartment is located in the heart of the city so it will be very easy to get around.

The Neighborhood :
We are a few steps away from Plaza San Blas, and the old historical Center. The Plaza grande (presidential Palace), churches, Sucre Theatre, museums art exhibits and more are within 15 min walk. A few minutes walk you will find the Mercado central (central market), restaurants, small supermarkets and shops. If you want to go to other parts of the city, you can take a taxi anywhere; they are very cheap.
Hosts :
We are a Swiss-Ecuadorean couple. We both have a 8 years hospitality background building and managing a Rainforest lodge. The lodge won in 2014 and 2015 the tripadvisor Traveller's choice and Certificate of Excellence. We are ready to give our guests the same warm and professional welcome for our rentals.

Homelike apartment with a great view at the cathedral
The apartment is in a special, old house directly in the historic center of Quito. It has a nice living room and a big kitchen. Go upstairs and you have lovely bathroom and sleeping area made out of wood. The new incorporated wood goes great with the old masonry. You will feel at home there and the house is in an upcoming area with different new and lovely bars which serve you native beers. The owners live right next door and are very helpful and kind people. They combine the best of Ecuador and Switzerland and they are able to help you in English, Spanish, French, German and even Swiss German. They will help you with inputs for your travels all over Ecuador.

Great loft with private terrace in great location
This loft is perfect for staying a few days in Quito. It's in a great central location in historic Quito. It's perfect if you are looking for private space or a place to call home for a few days instead of a hostel. Dagmar was wonderful and to say to coordinate the stay with and gave great suggestions on local things to do and where to eat/drink while in Quito.

Excellent place!
The house is excellent and the hosts were very kind and organized! They even left a folder with information on the house and spots we may want or need to visit, such as restaurants, bars, drugstores, grocery stores... We stayed for a about a week and really enjoyed the experience. The house had everything we needed plus an amazing view of the mountains. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place with us! We truly recommend!
