Glamping in the Falkland Islands!
Great glamping experience in West Falklands - totally unique in the Falkland Islands. Meals provided if needed, and they are superb! A wonderful base for exploring West Falkland, seeing albatross, rockhopper penguins and lots of other wildlife!

My favorite accommodation in the Falkland Islands
Yes, the Boxwood Pod is extremely cute, but what will make your experience truely amazing here are the hosts. Peter and Shelley are the loveliest couple ever, I get emotional just to think of them while writing this review, because they are one of those people that you will definitely miss when you leave. Besides of being sweet and cooking amazing meals and snacks (oh, I wish I could get Shelley's sausage roll recipe - they are delicious!), they are also committed to sustainability. I was impressed to find butter wrapped in reusable beewax wraps in the fridge. Most of the food is homemade with igredients sourced from their farm.
Peter & Shelley, I miss you and I hope to be back to visit you some day.

Relaxation, blissful and full of nature.
The most relaxing place I've been. The pod gives the perfect vibe to connect with the surroundings. Great walking options from the pod and Peter and Shelley are the nicest people. If I ever come back to the Falklands I will definitely book again!

A beautiful relaxing special place
A lovely setting, cute comfortable place to stay, along with delicious wholesome food. Don’t miss it. The proprietors Peter and Shelley are such great hosts. Going on a day tour they offer should be required! Great chance to learn about West Falklands life and history while enjoying nature and tranquility

If you are an avid birdwatcher, you are in luck! Hill Cove is home to a diverse range of bird species. Grab your binoculars and head out to spot some feathery friends. Enjoy beach walking the beaches around hill Cove are perfect for a leisurely stroll,
For those seeking more of a challenge, why not hike up one of the hill in the area views from the top are well worth the climb.
Getting around
Just a heads up, the roads here are all gravel and not paved. They can be pretty slippery when it rains, so a 4x4 car is necessary to get around. There are not any shops, restaurants, or urban amenities here - it is pretty remote, kind of like a safari experience.

The easiest option is to book a flight with FIGAS and we will meet you at the airstrip and take you straight to Boxwood. For locals who have their own vehicle, we can provide directions or just give us a call and we will guide you to our location. We are happy to help!
