Simply an awesome experience! Great view of the Judean Desert from the secluded balcony. The location was simple outstanding. The apartment is located in a gated community of quality homes and very polite people. We parked twenty paces from the door. We used the kitchen to make breakfast, lunch and dinner with good dishes & pots and pans all for the best; we ate at the dining room table. We watched TV, with many English-speaking channels. Plenty of hot water, a very nice washer and drier, etc. The neighborhood is located about 20 minutes from the actual Temple Mount and about a 20-minute ride in the other direction to the Dead Sea; from the apartment we visited the entire country, top to bottom (Eilat to Haifa, Tiberius to Tel Aviv, Nazareth to Masada, and all points in between). We purchased quality food in the neighborhood and gasoline down the street. The family that rents out the apartment were kind and helpful; they were also respectful of our privacy and gave good advice when we asked. We really liked them. Will definitely visit again!

We stayed in Isreal for 6 days and decided to stay in this apartment in Kfar Adumim, because we wanted to be away from the busyness of Jerusalem and because this apartment was cheaper than the average apartment in Jerusalem itself. It wasn't too far away from Jerusalem, it tooks us about 20 minutes to get into town. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. In Kfar Adumim is a small grocery store and a swimming pool you can use free of charge. There is an ATM as well, but it didn't take our bankcards, so we had to go to Maale Adumim to get some money (10 minutes drive). I found the owner and his wife to be very friendly and helpful. As they were going away on holiday, they more or less empty their fridge and gave us quite a bit of food. Kfar Adumim lies where the Judean Desert starts, so the scenery is very fascinating as well. Next time we will visit Israel, I am pretty sure we will stay here again! Tip: At the bottom of the hill next to the petrol station there is a bakery for fresh bread and they serve a good cappuccino as well!
