Our proximity to Placencia Village and Maya Beach make for a quick trip via golf cart or car, but far enough from the crowded tourist areas, allowing you to retreat to your private beach oasis. The casita is crafted from Belizean hardwoods harvested from the Maya Mountains 20 miles west of the property. Unique design elements were incorporated to maximize your indoor and outdoor living experience. The fully furnished kitchenette is ready for those who wish to create their own Belizean dish. At La Vida Casita, we want your experience to be just as you expected. We offer complimentary use of the tandem kayak and bicycles. Large coral heads present just off the beach will allow you to practice your snorkeling technique before you head out to the Cayes. Those who love to fish, snapper, snook, jacks, grunts, and Spanish mackerel are just out the front door, while tarpon and others are just across the road in the lagoon. Our location is situated a short 5-minute drive north of Maya Beach and a 30-minute drive north of Placencia Village. Many tour operators offer courtesy pick up and drop off here at La Vida. We highly recommend that our guests rent a car to explore the region or rent a golf cart to tootle around the peninsula.
