Exiting news! The Villas at Cocoplum are getting bigger and a new building is under construction. All amenities are fully functional. However, depending on the construction phase you will hear some noise during work hours (daily 7am-5pm). There is a construction privacy fence to reduce impact.
Please be aware of it when inquiring or booking the condo.

Winter getaway.
Great place to get away. Loved the pool, fishing off the pier, conversations on the outdoor patio. Food in the area was great. Monkey River tour was excellent.

Beautiful Rental Excellent Location
We stayed in this condo 311 Permit recently. Condo was beautiful inside and out. Grounds were meticulously maintained. Inside of condo was so clean and smelled so nice and fresh. Everything you needed and then some was included. Owners definitely put some thought into the details of what was needed. Even had a few card/board games to play in case there was a rainy day. Staff were so helpful to make our stay easy. Plenty to do in the area. Would definitely choose this location AND this ground-floor unit.

Excellent location, fabulous property!
Villas at coco plum made it so easy, great location, amenities in the villa were much appreciated. Restaurants in walking distance with grocery and fresh veggies/fruit within 5 min drive. We will be back not soon enough! Gorgeous beach and pier for fishing, hammocking and star gazing.

Gorgeous and Tranquil
I spent 10 days at unit 311 at the Villas. From the extremely well-appointed kitchen to the beautifully maintained grounds & pool to the most friendly and helpful staff, this place was exceptional. I used the free fishing equipment as well as the kayaks. Sitting on the dock in the morning was great. A new fresh fruit and vegie stand less than 2 miles up the road was very convenient. The price was reasonable as compared to what was in the area. I’d definitely book here again.

Awesome trip!
Despite Covid concerns, our trip went on without issues! Beautifully kept grounds, great condo that was fully equipped, and the staff SO very helpful and friendly! Lots of amenities that we were pleased to take advantage of! Went on a few excursions including a day of fishing with a great guide, Monkey River trip and snorkeling. Our only complaint… we should have stayed longer!!!

FAMILY FRIENDLY BEACH CONDO
Herbert greeted us promptly upon arrival and gave us the lay of the land. Alvero was readily available for questions and advice. The condo itself was nice, modern, and comfortable. The grounds were beautifully maintained.
There is an abundance of wildlife in the area. Seen daily were: iguanas, pelicans, starfish, jellyfish, flying fish, agoutis, and several other birds.
We even saw a dolphin and a manatee off the shore!
The condo is approximately a 20-minute drive to the town of Placencia with several restaurants, eateries, and small grocery stores en route.
Word of warning: bring insect repellent!! I did not even realize that I was being bitten, but no-see-um bites are CRAZY itchy.

Stunning condo perfect for a beautiful Belize vacation.
This 2 bedroom condo is in immaculate condition. We were so comfortable and definitely felt spoiled by the beautiful decor, wonderful amenities and friendly staff at the Villas at Coco Plum. This was our first trip to Belize so we had many questions but knew we were in good hands with answers and advice provided by the staff. Walking out on the dock in the morning was one of our favorite things to do. The pool was beautiful for an afternoon swim. We enjoyed the added bonus of having kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, and other equipment available for our use.
This unit is right on the first floor which is excellent for walking right out to the beach or pool. The location is excellent...just a bit north of the the village of Placencia was very convenient for shopping, excursions, restaurants, etc. We definitely plan on visiting again.

Wonderful beach condo with the Caribbean right outside your door.
Had a wonderful, peaceful relaxing time at Condo 311. Accommodations were great and grounds staff were very helpful. We took in many adventures around the area. Fished off the pier and caught Red Tail Snappers and a Barracuda. Kayaked out to an island to snorkel. Went on the Monkey River Jungle trip and saw and heard Howler Monkeys. There were not enough days to do and see and do everything. Will need to go back.

Awesome villa in a perfect location
Our family had a fantastic time staying at the Villa in Coco Plum. A convenient location with access to all that Placencia has to offer!

Vacation Paradise
We were long overdue for a relaxing vacation by the ocean and this was the perfect place to go. Herbert had a cab waiting for us at the airport when we arrived and then gave us an overview of Placencia and restaurants we might like to try. This unit was comfortable and well stocked with what we needed for the week. The pool, the beach and the pier with lounge chairs at the end provided nice spots to hang out and enjoy the sunshine. The resort is well maintained and the staff are always there to help you out when you need it.

About the neighborhood
The Villas at Cocoplum is uniquely located in the ultimate upscale area that provides for a very private beach setting, yet it is close to fine dining and other upscale resorts, just 1 mile south of Maya Beach and 10 minute north of the local airport and the tourist town of Placencia. Grocery Stores, unique restaurants, and fun beach bars are just a few minutes drive away.
Getting around
Some sort of transportation eg a golf cart is recommended. A taxi can also easily pick you up and bring you to the restaurant of your choice. The amenities of The Villas at Cocoplum are varied enough to spend an entire vacation within the grounds of the gated community!

How to get there
Arriving by car?
Exit the International Airport, turn right at the roundabout onto the John Smith Rd. (the new Airport Link Road) After 5 miles turn right at the roundabout, exit onto Western Highway toward Belmopan (drive via Belmopan, do not turn off before onto the Coastal Highway, which is a dirt road). After 40 miles (in Belmopan), turn left onto Hummingbird Highway toward Dangriga/Placencia. After 50 miles, turn right onto Southern Highway toward Placencia, after 25 miles, turn left at roundabout toward Placencia. (there are always signs at the roundabouts or major intersections)
Once on the Peninsula drive through Maya Beach, after you see Mile Marker 17 on the right side, you will see the Cocoplum sign on the left. There is a guard house at the entrance- turn right after the guard shack and drive all the way to the end where you find the parking area in front of the Condo Buildings.
