Arriving by car?
Exit the International Airport, turn right at the roundabout onto the John Smith Rd. (the new Airport Link Road) After 5 miles turn right at the roundabout, exit onto Western Highway toward Belmopan (drive via Belmopan, do not turn off before onto the Coastal Highway, which is a dirt road). After 40 miles (in Belmopan), turn left onto Hummingbird Highway toward Dangriga/Placencia. After 50 miles, turn right onto Southern Highway toward Placencia, after 25 miles, turn left at roundabout toward Placencia. (there are always signs at the roundabouts or major intersections)
Once on the Peninsula drive through Maya Beach, after you see Mile Marker 17 on the right side, you will see the Cocoplum sign on the left. There is a guard house at the entrance- turn right after the guard shack and drive all the way to the end where you find the parking area in front of the Condo Buildings.
