2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 5
Budapest, Central Hungary
This is a beautifully renovated apartment, which is located minutes from Andrassy Boulevard, the Opera House, Franz Liszt Square, Deak Ferenc Terrace and the Danube. It is light and spacious with high ceilings and plasterwork, chandeliers and parquet floors throughout.

The apartment has two big bedrooms, one of which has its own little balcony which faces the big old yellow church opposite. There is plenty of room to lounge around after a full day's exploration of the City and having previously been used as our family's pied a terre in Budapest. The apartment has both a modern kitchen and bathroom (with separate shower) with a very spacious lounge area. It is fully equipped, furnished and has Free Internet Access available.
There is parking nearby just off Kiraly Street and some others close by. Please check the ezparkbudap...

The apartment in Kiraly street was a pleasure to stay in. Hidden inside a wonderful decorative exterior is the charm and character of the real city, a place where people live rather than just visit. I would recommend it for people who want to experience that reality.

Management response:

Thank you for the review . Im so pleased that you enjoyed Budapest and that you found the apartment to your liking... Any future bookings will receive a friends' discount ! Denise

I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay here again. Yes, Kiraly Street has just got better over time with lots of new, interesting and individual shops, cafes and restaurants all in the area. There's a wonderful buzz about the place. I look forward to hearing from you when you come over with your girlfriends.

About the neighborhood
There are literally hundreds of wonderful things to do in Budapest. In fact every time we go we come back with a list of things to do next on our next visit! Although walking around the City is an absolute pleasure, we would suggest that on your first day you take a tour of the City (buses leave from Andrassy, about 5 minutes walk from the apartment), which will allow you to get a feel for the layout of the City in order that you can plan your itinerary. From there you can choose to visit the wonderful National Museum or the chilling but essential Terror Museum, catch a concert at the Opera House (or at any other of the many music halls that are dotted around the City) take a boat trip up the Danube, walk around the Castle District, relax at the Gellert or Szechenyi baths or rub shoulder... more

How to get there
Airport: Budapest, Ferihegy: 14.9 mi
Railway: Budapest, Nyugati (Western) Railway: 0.6 mi
Budapest, is very easy to get to from all major UK airports. Flights from London take about two and a half hours. jump on the airport minibus, which will take you to the flat or just get a Zona taxi, which will cost about 25 Euros. Unless you plan on visiting Lake Balaton or one of the nearby villages, such as Szetendre, you will not need to hire a car. As with any city, Budapest is best explored on foot and indeed many parts of Budapest cannot be reached otherwise. There is a clean and safe underground metro which will take you to the most popular attractions as well as tram and bus links, all of which are very inexpensive. If you have time, there are exciting alternatives to flying to Budapest. We would recommend taking the train across Europe or flying to Vienna (or any other City... more
